I'd like to hear about your experience with the 12V battery in your '21 or '22 Taycan leaving the car parked for two weeks or more.

No problem with 12V leaving car for 2 weeks or more. I charge to 50% and leave it locked.

I just make sure it turns on a/c every other day and it can stay like that for weeks... Scheduling preheating connects HV battery.

I did park my car for a month without any problem when I came back. I haven't got any webcam or other non Porsche factory electronic installed.

I stopped trusting it after mine was one of the ones that died after only 9 days parked at Christmas.
Despite many different rumours there has never been a clear answer as to whether this was (a) a temporary software problem now fixed; (b) a permanent issue which could recur; or (c) something else.

To be safe I installed a ctek socket and put it on power if away for >3 weeks or in winter.

I regularly work away from home for up to 6-8 weeks at a time. Car is left in the garage connected to the EVSE, and the 12v connected to a CTEK. No problems except for the one time I forgot to connect the CTEK, and needed to call Porsche Assistance……..

It seems everyone has different experiences.

I've left my '21 Taycan parked in our garage, unlocked and not plugged in, when out of town multiple times, with SoC of traction battery close to 50%. No problem for 2 weeks, or for 3 weeks ... 12-volt battery has always been fine upon return; no problems.

Fine in summer for 3 weeks but in winter when cold weather have to use CTEC if >2 weeks or have dead 12 Volt.

I'd like to hear about your experience with the 12V battery in your '21 or '22 Taycan leaving the car parked for two weeks or more.
My 2021 was delivered in Jan/2022 and I purchased in November 2023 with 30K miles on it.
Since 11/2023 I have never had any problem with my 12V battery when leaving it parked in my garage for as long as 2-3 weeks a few times each year when we leave on vacation.
As long as I make sure the main HV battery is charged comfortably above 50% (usually 55% to 60%) then the 12V battery is perfectly maintained during my absence.
I do put our key fobs into RF blocking pouches so they cannot communicate with the car to keep it awake and draining the 12v battery.
For the first year I did not connect to the 120v charger in my garage and I have not ever seen more than a 1 or 2% drop in SOC over a 2 or 3 week period being away.
For the last 5 months I have begun using my Porsche 120V charger when I’m away with the timer & home charging profiles set to 80% or 85% so my main battery is kept at 80% to 85% which in turn insures the 12V battery is properly maintained at the correct voltage.
The fact I’m maintaining the 12V battery in the most optimal conditions I expect my 12V battery to last at least 8-10 years and if it doesn’t I will be very upset that the quality & longevity of these batteries is not worth the price of replacement in the future.
