UK order status and delays?

6 months!! You ordered when I finally locked down 12 months post order.

My car arrived 17/11 and cleared PDI at Sheerness today 30/11 and is, expected at Guildford early next week but as ever with only 24 hours notice for the SA. I get back from abroad next Wednesday so am hoping to collect it Thursday 8th. ?

Sounds like there’s a big push by PRG to get the cars out pre Xmas. End of year bonuses I presume.

Hopefully this thread will go very quiet in 10 days

My SA has just been in touch to confirm the car has just completed production and is due to leave Emden on 9 December. Delivery to the dealer has, unfortunately, been pushed back to 23 December though. That said, I can’t see it taking the ship 7 days to get to Grimsby so something is clearly not quite right with the scheduling below:

Looks like I’ll have to make do with looking at the photos for a while longer lol. ??

Think they can hang about in port for up to a week, or so I've read here. Possibly as they will book transporters when they have a batch to go out. Also some cars (not all? maybe just a PRG thing) getting PDI'd in port.

The actual Ro-Ro sea journey only takes 2 days from Emden to either Sheerness or Grimsby.

Yep, I think you're right. I was fully expecting a delay at Grimsby and the schedule is allowing a week there but I was surprised that the time from leaving Emden and arriving at Grimsby is down as one week as well? I think the PDI is done in Belfast rather than at the port but there's a bit of a journey by transporter/ferry to get it across the Irish Sea as well so that needs added on I suppose.

That said, I'm not in as much of a rush now as I have to return to work before Christmas so collection will be on my return (in February). I've waited this long, a few more weeks won't do me any harm lol.

Didn't get the electric steering column but Matrix LEDs and Bose all present. I got it on the 20" Winter Tequipment wheels, ideal given the weather. Very happy with the Blackberry.

Looks fantastic. We’ve had blackberry on our past 2 Taycan’s and love it. We’ve gone black for our imminent arrival, already missing the blackberry!
