My CT4S got to Emden and then Sheerness on exactly the same days as yours. Dealer (Silverstone) expecting it soon, but can offer no more than that. Any news on yours?

Yes.

Tyre roar is reduced as the element that normally comes through the glass is gone and there is zero wind noise or the usual noise that comes into the cabin through the glass from other vehicles etc. (even at higher speeds).

It's one of the options I specced that I'm most pleased with as I spend a lot of time at high speed on the motorway. Makes for a very relaxing drive and reduces tiredness. Recommended.

I'm not sure it is part of the 'process'. My CT is currently at Sheerness, and the dealer has no idea when they will receive delivery. However, they sent me a list of registrations last week, from which I got to choose. So think it means you are getting close, but it doesn't provide any acurate guidance as to when the car arrives.

I wonder if the heater issue that is affecting so many cars means there could be some PDI issues etc.

I'm not sure the heater issue is delaying anything. He messaged me yesterday to say once the car was received, they could turn it around for collection within 24 hours. I have made him aware of my knowledge of the heater issues, so would like to think any PDI checks include this and are included within his 24 hour turnaround time.

I specifically asked to choose, but think it's pot luck depending on dealer. I've had one BMW dealer that has let me choose in the past, another that hasn't. And on this occasion, I found one that immediately caught my attention and is perfect!!

Yeah. There’s only a delay IF they discover the heater has failed during PDI and they need to order a replacement and fit it.

I’ve had notification today that I can pick up on Monday so the dealer must be expecting it to arrive some time this week.

I’m not sure whether it arrived in Sheerness on 30th Dec or 5th Jan

Mine arrived at the dealer from Grimsby yesterday afternoon. Car will be off to the detailer for paint correction, PPF and ceramic in the next few days. I'm collecting it on my return from work next month. Can't wait!

SA at Porsche Cambridge says it could be ready for collection today, but I need to confirm details with Zenith (mine is salary sacrifice) so I can agree collection on 19 Jan. Can't wait!

Yes, was given the option by Scott Riley our SA.

my preference was always to go to the showroom for:
- The Experience > hoping this is an event to remember
- Checking > good opportunity to ask people there what the set up is for the car, confirm all updates are done, check out key known problem points (eg heaters)
- walk through of charging
- set phones up etc
