Yes, no change. I added a few more kw when I got home just to check that changing the leave time Initiated a charge immediately which it did. These are my figures now.
A3FC7E14-2B5E-41ED-B40A-8C846EE0BA42.webp

so 29.4 kw, should be 29.4 x 24p ( 34p unit rate minus 10) which is £7.05. Credit is 6.57 so 48p short and equiv to approx 11.5p a kw.
Will check In Tomorrow to see if it’s changed.
Looking at each credit they are...
32.36p - 22.33p =10.04p
32.36p - 22.44p =9.92p
Giving you a net price of +/- 10p plus vat

I did have to call OVO today and they confirmed my rate should be 33.98p so fairly confident this is correct. Reason I called is my smart meter shows 35.66 unit rate. They have said my meter isn’t fully linked and need to send off some info to them then they will decide on next steps, but dont think this is linked to my variance as I’m using the contract lower rate in my calcs.
Yes my IHD shows 35.92p but my bills show the correct rate.

I think this thread has resulted in so many moves to Ovo that Octopus have reacted by reducing their prices today!
It’s all regional specific I think but my recently increased overnight rate has come down from 12p to 9.5p

Good to see competition returning!
The Go day rate is still a premium of 8.13p Inc vat over my OVO household use rate.
Go night rate is 1p Inc vat cheaper than Charge Anytime but limited to the 4 off peak hours. My car is currently charging at 10.5p with OVO but I cannot shift any domestic use onto a cheap rate.

I don't have a compatible charger and I would not shift enough domestic use into the 6 off peak hours to make it worthwhile. I regularly arrive home with circa 10% soc and need to charge to 85% or 100% for the next day so need to add 62kwh to 75kwh overnight and could only get about 42kwh during the 6 off peak hours.

Are you saying the £6.57 credit will have 5% vat added to it when credited?

I dont pay 32.36, I pay 33.98p so,

33.98- 22.33p = 11.65p per unit
33.98- 22.44p= 11.54p per unit ???

that’s not 10p plus vat ?? What am I missing?

No the credit which shows in the App is inclusive of vat. Let me check my man maths when I have time ?

I had a strong feeling Octopus would react to OVO and the market overall.
My 34p/7.5p rates are locked until July.
I knew something would shift before then.
The IMMENSE faff reported here about moving to OVO for marginal gains meant I would have probably stayed with Octopus at 45/12.5 anyway.
Now it’s guaranteed.
What is Octopus Intelligent going to?
Then you get 6 hours if you do the Car registration thing?

Hi- just to balance a couple of points, I’ve posted a lot of queries and questions on my move to Ovo that may have given the impression of IMMENSE faff, but that’s just my nature. Took about a week to get going, I was just impatient and am still getting head around the crediting currently but move overall was easy and the gains are far from marginal if on 45p/ 12.5p for 4 hours which I was with octopus. My house cains electric on day rate due to air source heat pump and under floor heating so 25% reduction is this is massive. Also 12.5p for 4 hours meant also charging my car at 45p a unit. Overall considerable savings to be had. Obviously on your locked in rate maybe not so much so depending on usage. Taycan wasn’t compatible for intelligent without specific charger that I don’t have so no other options with octopus.

Apologies for confusion.
Porsche still not compatible with Octopus Intelligent.
I am considering it because I have an Audi Etron which is compatible.
It is cheaper and it has been reported here that you can charge the Taycan at the same time as your registered electric other vehicle.
Rates cheaper day time in my area on new Octopus Go and Intelligent rates!?
