How do you know that it's the case in this particular issue?as the problem is the HV battery
If the 12V battery is low/faulty and sends a fault code msg (by the 12V control unit) to the BMS the HV relais shuts off and you'll get the red warning while there's nothing wrong with the HV battery.
Cause, effect.
You can't possibly draw any conclusion on this as there are also (known) bugs in the BMS that'll trigger a fault code which also shuts down the relais.
So it's always a good idea to check if you're on the latest update (which prevents fake fault codes to shut down the car for no reason at all).
And have the right software programmed into the 12V control unit of course (which is part of the 12V battery itself).
