note the standard equipment screen shot from this morning!!! It's only taken them 3 years!!!
Until recently (I don't know when Porsche updated it) they incorrectly listed the North American Taycan as having a 9.6 kW on board charger - this in my opinion was always incorrect and showed confusion on Porsche's part between the external PMC+/PMCC EVSE's 9.6 kW limit and the actual capacity of the onboard AC/DC converter (onboard charger).
It's always been 11 kW the same as ROW - but in North America the specifications were off due to the difference in EVSE capacity and onboard charger capacity.
Porsche finally seems to have wrapped their heads around this fact and updated the standard equipment E-Mobility Section.
as noted in this thread nearly 3 years ago - Porsche has finally caught up https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...ot-max-9-6-kw-40-amps.1793/page-5#post-245256
