Started the process today of rejecting my CT4 with my local Porsche Centre.
Received the car early December 22 after a 12 month wait.
As of today (June 9th) the car spent the last 2 1/2 months in a body repair shop. The issue is due to 2 separate rainwater ingress issues - 1 into the tailgate and the other into driver’s side rear quarter. To date the body shop in fairness have tried their best but the leaks still persist. Reckon the fault was there from the start and I didn’t notice - my bad.
After this length of time and with today’s news that they still have a leak (after months of fixing) I have decided to reject the car. Lost faith on these two issues being fixed. Love the way the car drives and looks - can’t stand the fact that this issue cannot be fixed in a timely manner.
Question I have is - has anyone out there rejected their Taycan and how did it go? Did you have to lawyer up or was it dealt with amicably by Porsche?
I of course stressed that I was not trading this car in and losing my shirt - simply rejecting it and looking for something water tight ??? with the money I have already sunk into this car.
