i had a call from my OPC - they expect my car to be released from the WNT8 campaign overnight - so in theory I can collect it tomorrow. However, due to work commitments I’ve had to delay this until Thursday.
3 hours to go…

Hi, after 19 months my Mamba 4S is at the dealer, finished production 26th May. Do we know when the code 8 or code 9 status is established is it when PDI or would they already know from chassis number?. Just trying to work out if it is a few days wait or another undetermined wait. Seems so close yet so far!

I ordered a Cherry Metallic 4S late September 2021 and finally it’s at the dealers, 21 months later, is this a record? It’s now Gentian blue as they apparently ran out of Cherry but at least it’s in the UK.

Oops ! It is early.

After waiting 15 months that's nothing !
I think it will be approaching 19 months from deposit to delivery for me.

Great handover from Bruce at Mid-Sussex Porsche - a slightly strange experience as I’d already seen the car in the showroom previously and had been driving their Taycan Turbo S (and their Panamera 4 hybrid) for the last month, so some of the usual handover stuff had already been covered.

The dashcam is fairly discrete and comes on automatically, so I’m happy with that. I wI’ll probably only need to download the footage following an incident, which is hopefully never!

Some nice freebies from the dealer (thermos flasks, t-shirt etc).

Looking forward to actually driving the car now!

Many congrats and best of health to enjoy!

I remember you being contacted last minute to postpone the collection.

I really like how you have continued the blue theme from the exterior with the blue stitching and GTS headrest logos:like:

Congrats to all of you collecting your cars this week... Making me excited, they look great.

Unfortunately, I doubt I will be collecting mine this week as we have been waiting over a week for Germany to give it the all-clear. SA said yesterday afternoon Germany only came back with a response on half the cars they had tested and sent over data on.

A question, has anyone's car failed the 50-day test?

oooh that looks nice! ?

I am counting down the (undefined number of) days until Bruce is doing my handover too! He has been great during the 14 months I've been waiting. Car is currently at Emden so hopefully not too long to wait.

I think this is an impossible question to answer as don’t think any of us have enough info as to why we’re delayed. I personally would assume that if the car has been at port >50 days, it’s a good sign it’s failed although what the implications are of that…… Some stories have suggested they just wait another 10 days and retest and so on, but there must come a point where a failure/extended delay requires more significant resolution paths, then I get depressed thinking about it!!!! This is coming from someone who’s car has been held for ~60 days :-(

Thanks for the feedback. I am in a similar position to you it seems at >60 days. All I can do is wait...
