Same here. This was basically what I was told after they rear rotors were replaced and the noise still existed. Im considering selling the car because of it.
Plus it can’t be the brakes because @offplan has the same issue without PSCB.This was basically what I was told after they rear rotors were replaced and the noise still existed. Im considering selling the car because of it.
Same here mate. I have read that at lowYep, and it only makes the noise when Im not on the brakes.
This is my fear of getting another taycan that might end up having the same issueSame here mate. I have read that at low
Speeds the vibration between disc and pad on PSCB make sound. But what sucks is some have the issue and others don’t. That’s not good enough when spending over £125,000
I wouldn’t get another one to be honest. This is my fear of getting another taycan that might end up having the same issue

Thanks.I’ve done 32K Km,
No tracking or hard driving, just a regular work commute. It is not a brake pad/rotor issue it sounds like it’s a motor/inverter issue.
What will your friend do to you if the tech just adds the noise to your friends car instead? The Tech has acknowledged that there is a sound, but he has brushed it off as normal. I have a friend whos Taycan doesnt make that sound. Im going to take it to the shop to make him realize that it is not normal. Please let me know what the outcome of your visit is.

What brakes do you have and how many miles driven? @thomasnhydeI think this is right. Mine is getting worse now and it seems to be something to do with the motor and the regen system.
I have the squealing:
1. On gentle acceleration to 20mph, straight-line and cornering
2. On regen mode when the car slows to a stop (from around 20mph to zero)
3. On light braking (from around 20mph) where the green regen bars come up on the speedometer
On hard braking or hard acceleration (both almost impossible in London or uncomfortable for all passengers), there is no squealing noise..
It's really doing my head in now and getting worse. I'm seriously considering selling the car back to Porsche who deny it exists as a problem at all.
