I left on 18/5/23 for a six week trip to europe returning on 29/6/23.I wanted to see the effect on the main and 12 volt battery.When i left the main battery was at 86% and the 12 volt battery at 13.5 when I returned it was respectively 54% and 13.5. Hence the power loss of the main battery was about 5% per week and the 12 volt battery none.Many people have reported problems with the 12 V battery upon extended storage and i think based on those findings you do not have to worry about that issue .The 5% per week loss is somewhat puzzling since all systems were turned off including the Porsche App.However may be the power loss can be explained by recharging the 12 Volt battery during those six weeks.I would interested in knowing what the membership thinks about those findings

Really interesting result. I had expected more or less the opposite: low 12V, little loss in HV. Also very keen to hear if others have similar results from not-use lately.

Is it possible that Porsche have changed the algorithm for charging the 12 V battery now?

Have been on multiple (5+) multi-week overseas trips over last 1.5 years and I too left battery at 85% but never saw losses of more than 1% per week - 12V Battery exactly as yours, unchanged but has never been an issue for me - mine a Nov 2021 build model 2022 CT 4S delivered Dec 2021.

One thing that is known to reduce your main HV SoC is if you were by chance pinging your car via the App when aboard to check on its SoC?

if done regularly it could well acount for the higher 5% losses.

Left for 2 weeks, so not as long of a data point. 51% SOC HV 13.5V on 12V battery. Left it plugged in, but it never charged while I was away (set to hold 50% charge). Came back to exact same SOC 51% on HV and 13.5V on 12V. Mine is a '23, built January.

Shut down the Porsche App so that cannot be it.very puzzling this difference

Each time the car is pinged it wakes up the whole system so actually it very well could be the difference - can’t say for sure - there are other threads on this and even advice from Porsche about the effect of doing this ?don’t have immed to hand).

Is your car set to precondition the cabin at a certain time each day? To run the air conditioner automatically based on a planned departure time?
It's the only thing I can think of that makes any sense. That's an incredible amount of energy use- nearly 4.5 kWh per week.

No it is in a garage in south florida and I have zero programming installed .I cannot explain it either and the fact that I pinged every other day or so causing the issue is also hard to swallow

Huh. I agree the root cause cannot be that the car was pinged and woke up and ran the computers briefly. That doesn't pass the sniff test given the amount of energy consumed.

Yo he dejado varias veces aparcado en mi garaje durante 2 o 3 semanas mi Taycan 4S y después de este tiempo la batería estaba exactamente igual que cuando lo dejé, incluso consulté al menos una vez por semana la App My Porsche para comprobar que todo estaba correcto en mi Taycan
Yo preguntaría en tu Centro Porsche el motivo de esta pérdida tan grande de la carga.

Ditto - only reason I mentioned the app was there is a bulletin somewhere re excessive pinging of car and various activations but as with you, occasional pings def have had zero effect on HV Soc.

I left mine on charge for 4 weeks (forgot) 12v dead ?, not doing that again. I regularly leave mine for weeks with minimal degradation of main or 12v battery. You defo have a problem there.
