I know there are lots of posts about difficulties in programming the Taycan Homelink system for certain garage doors with rolling codes?
It looks as though our new gates and garage doors are a relatively new development with ‘bi-secur’ technology which (as I understand it) means that even if the correct code is sent to the device, it won’t operate if it doesn’t recognise the source of the signal.
My installer has not come across this issue before and had both fixed code and rolling code remotes with which to try and program the Homelink but without success.
The garage doors / mechanism are new, so I’m ruling out the ‘wrong LED lamp’ issue highlighted elsewhere.
I’m struggling to find anything online referring to both Taycan and bi-secur.

Is it Hörmann bi-secur?

Yes, I believe so.
I have made Porsche Homelink work together with Hörmann Bi-secur in the following way.

Mounted Hörmann HE3 transmitter on the gate opener machine. It sends a fixed code instead of rolling code.

I have then recoded the hand transmitters from bi-secur to a fixed code. Then I connected the hand transmitters to the gate opener machine/HE3. The Hörmann system now functions as a fixed code system and can therefore be connected to Porsche's Home-Link transmitter.

All newer transmitters from Hörmann can be recoded. You can see that the transmitters have been recoded to a fixed code by the transmitter lamp lighting up red. When in Bi-secur mode the light is blue.

Not sure whether these instructions were followed or a different approach, but I can now control the garage door from my Homelink in the car, so thanks for the help!
