I know there are lots of posts about difficulties in programming the Taycan Homelink system for certain garage doors with rolling codes?
It looks as though our new gates and garage doors are a relatively new development with ‘bi-secur’ technology which (as I understand it) means that even if the correct code is sent to the device, it won’t operate if it doesn’t recognise the source of the signal.
My installer has not come across this issue before and had both fixed code and rolling code remotes with which to try and program the Homelink but without success.
The garage doors / mechanism are new, so I’m ruling out the ‘wrong LED lamp’ issue highlighted elsewhere.
I’m struggling to find anything online referring to both Taycan and bi-secur.
