Motortrend has the 3.2 seconds 0-60 test time. Think article was Dec 2022.
So 2/10ths faster to 60 mph than the 4S. Pretty immaterial. And the suspension can be speccd identically. So it really comes down to which styling one prefers.

I believe not, the GTS suspension settings and faux sound are unique to the GTS according to the UK blurb.

One reason I got a CT 4S rather than ST GTS was the suspension settings suiting my local roads better IMO.

Suspension parts are exactly the same between 4S and GTS, with the exception of the sway bars (thicker in GTS). Other than that, it's just software.

GTS sport sound---I believe the hardware is different. Not the actual speaker itself, but the controller board.

My source? One of the techs when I asked him what it would take to load GTS specific settings onto my 4S....

I know this but unless you can change the software the suspension isn't the same.
The steering hardware is the same between Audi E-Tron GT and Taycan but the steering feels completely different because the software is different.

The software is the important bit IME not the hardware.

Correct. It IS the same, but it is NOT the same.....at the same.....time.

I'd argue that hardware is more important, especially if someone wanted GTS handling. If the GTS had different suspension parts, it would be much more costly for a non GTS Taycan to acquire GTS specific parts, add on labor and it wouldn't even be worth it.

This is real easy in the bimmer world. A regular M car owner (I'm talking real M cars, with only one number after it), can reprogram their ECUs and load competition package configs--it's as simple as removing and adding three letter codes. Since we're talking suspension, in similar fashion, both regular Ms and competition package Ms have the same parts, except the springs (rates are different).

Sooner or later, a third party will be able to do it for the Taycan, at least I hope.

Ah, if you mean the potential for external companies to offer tuning packages they are the same-ish, yes.

Not something I would consider, IME lower, stiffer with more camber = worse 95% of the time!
Wheel spacers = sidewall damage and so forth

It’s more than just 2/10th 0-60, I drive them both back to back and the gts is noticeably quicker in each mode above 60

0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) is more interesting :
13.3 seconds for the 4S, and 12.0 seconds for the GTS.

Oops. I just traded my MY23 CT4s for a MY22 CT TS. Hopefully the right decision as I am looking for more power....picking up in the end of August so I cannot tell you the diff in butt dyno yet but I hope it gives me some good power bump which I am looking for. Love the straight line speed hence the decision and the relatively heavy depreciation of TS models
Porsche Taycan Taycan 4S vs GTS IMG-20230726-WA0018
helps in the upgrade. The Taycan remains my car though for now..fantastic capability.

It’s exactly 2/10. In real tests, Turbo is 3.0, GTS is 3.2, and 4S is 3.4.

‘GTS handling’ ?

Porsche marketing folks are genius.

I wasn’t denying that but, but you said, apart from 0 to 60 time, the only different thing is the aesthetics, but I’m saying it’s not just the 0 to 60 time that’s different it also feels quicker above 60 than the 4S

It cannot be based on measurements made under different conditions.

Car and Driver tested them in the same conditions : 3.1 vs 3.4.
Porsche confirms : 3.5 vs 3.8.

So if we want to be precise, it is therefore exactly 0.3.

Anyway, in everyday use, it is the torque that is important. 30% more for the GTS is a real benefit.

‘GTS handling’ ?

Porsche marketing folks are genius.
- specific damper calibration.
- 20 % stiffer anti-roll bars front and rear.
- higher spring rates.
- the three-chamber air suspension setup now uses all three chambers only for Normal mode, with Sport and Sport Plus both reverting to a single chamber, unlike the 4S.

Edmunds : You really feel the difference between the 4S and the GTS in corners.
The GTS' suspension is better at keeping the car balanced .
It's the (30 %) extra torque that really makes a difference... it absolutely rockets out of a corner. While it's no 911, no other electric vehicle feels quite as good or engaging on a track as the Taycan GTS.

There is not a single review that says otherwise...
