Very nice indeed. There was a very very well spec'd GTS ST in PTS Nardo Grey at Bristol which sold very quickly, was wondering who snapped that one up. I had a sit in it while it was in prep, as it had options that Ive specified on my build, but never actually seen (VLC Pano, Burmeister etc).
This one has over 30k of options including ceramic, full carbon in and out, Rear wheel steering, all the driving options including HUD.

For cars like Porsches, I would always bias towards customizing the car to my specific tastes and requirements. Now that I have experienced doing this, I would find it much harder to adopt someone else’s spec.

Hi everyone.
First post here. From Sydney, Australia and have ordered a new 4S due early Jan. Freeze date coming late next month and doing the usual crazy research on options. In the meantime, I've found a used 1 year old GTS with 5.5k km's. Descent spec in Crayon (my order would be Ice Grey) with full black Mission Es. For my order on the new 4S, with options I'm looking at, the new 4S is around the same price of the 1 yr old GTS. Noting that the 4S will be 18 months newer. I've spec'd the GTS on the configurator and the depreciation on new cost is around 19% so I feel like it's a cracker deal. Getting new is also very special obviously, selecting an exact spec you want. Don't want to do the whole what would you do but any glaring / strong thoughts / opinions on either option?
Hi Peter. My new GTS will arrive at the dealer tomorrow. Like you I had the option of a GTS last May but it had the standard race-tex fit out which I did not want. So 16 months and two price rises later I'm nearly there. Unless something miraculous happens with Porsche Taycan production and Australia's pathetic new vehicle importation process at our ports, you may be waiting longer than anticipated with inflation risk head winds. Like you I chose to get what I wanted. But just a heads up.

It sounds like the GTS ticks the boxes in terms of options. If you can see the vehicle in person and the condition is “like new”, I think the GTS is the obvious choice. The only glaring downside to buying pre-owned is the annoyance of wear and tear caused by the previous owner(s) IMO.

Thanks for the response, specs:

New 4S
Ice grey, 21 Spyder wheels, Black/Crayon leather, 18 way seats, 4+1, Window trims in black, Rear logo in black, Chrono, Pano roof, Sport Sound, Ambient lighting, Elec charge cover, Passenger display and considering real axle steering (crap when I write it all up I realise I'm speccing too high lol)

Used GTS
Crayon, 21 Mission Es in all black, GTS interior package in Crayon, Ambient lighting, 4+1, elec charge cover, Pano roof, Passenger display, rear axle steering, on board charger.
The GTS also has the upgraded battery and thinking the sport sound would be standard but not 100% sure.

Thinking the GTS covers main 4S options....
New 4S every time . My 2023 has been faultless my 2022 less so!

You should either add the performance battery for the 4S or go the GTS.
The number of public chargers available in Oz are far less than US or Europe. Yes you may charge 95% of the time at home, but there will always be the occasional road trip.

BTW, I bought my 4S new and it's a fantastic car. I also specified the performance battery. The dealer told me that was wise for resale value if nothing else....

I really dislike Race Tex (Alcantara) but it is more forgiving if you have a weighty but!
