Hi. I have my Taycan RWD for a couple of days now. I find that the the auto turn on feature once you enter and close the door is a bit cumbersome. Anyway to deactivate this feature? I would like to start the car only by pressing the on button.

TIA.

Hardly cumbersome...it's labour saving given you've paid for comfort opening!

Disable all comfort features in the PCM but there is no specific option to disable auto power on that I'm aware of.

As per the 2nd post in this thread (assuming that the search result does correspond to a PCM function)...

Sometimes i would put my car key in the but not ready to go yet. But i don't the car to be on.
In that case, why does it even matter if the car is on or not? It will turn itself back off after some period of inactivity anyway. It won’t use much electricity during that time either. I understand why you asked the question, but the fact that it’s not possible really shouldn’t impact your use case.

That's provided i don't leave the key in the car. If the key is still in the car, it will be on for quite a long time. Hvnt got to find out how long yet. ?

If you leave your key in the car you will kill the fob battery in short order. I'm struggling to understand why you sometimes put your key in the car before you're ready to leave... but to each their own. I think you have the answers you were seeking.
