Is the US the same as the UK, in that the 22kW option requires 3-phase for any benefit? Reading other posts, i presume not - due to the crazy way the US 240v feeds work?
I believe I am correct in saying single phase is max 7.4kW (with or without the 22kW option). If you have 3-phase then its 11kW without the option and 22kW with.
Ill add that to post 1 if so - just want to confirm if its different for the US.

NA AC chargers are single phase, maxing out at 19.2kW using 80A at 240VAC.

A couple other option compromises:

• 18-way seats doesn’t allow massage option
• If ACC isn’t spec’d then ALK and Innodrive can’t be added later via FOD.

Thanks. Got the Innodrive FOD limitation in there. Ive added the 18-way compromise for completeness, although the configurator wont let you select that combo anyway. Im especially trying to find out all those gotchas that arent obvious. eg the 'reduction in storage space' on the Bose and Burmester, I cant find any pictures with and without this - Porsche should show the difference for clarity. Also on the Innodrive FOD, it says its not feature comparible to Innodrive out of the factory - but dosent actually say what the differences are (eg it mentions additional collision warning on the option description - do you not get these via FOD?).

Maybe some photos of the under floor storage area for each option would be good. Ultimately I didnt care, as I wanted Burmester anyway

This is the increased (oddly shaped) space the UK standard stereo leaves. The shaped foam is for the portable charger. For that reason you do not get the fabric cable bag (to keep the portable charger in) with the standard stereo.
I had the Bose surround in a loaner for 1 month before I got my car and I did not regret my choice when mine arrived

. It is not worth an extra £1052 to me.

With FOD ALK I don't get the green lines on either side of the distance selection that, I think, represent the car 'seeing' one or both lane markers.

I think so, the difference is no sub woofer.

Can't recall where I read it, it might not apply to the Taycan- the additional rear airbags could seriously or fatally injure dogs on the rear seat.

AFAIK, with Bose the size of the trunk is smaller because of subwoofer.
Don’t know for Burmester.

I think it's the risk that the explosive inflation of side airbags in the rear could forcefully impact any anyone- animal, child or even adult- if they aren't in the proper place, i.e. sitting upright wearing a seatbelt, or in an approved child seat. Certainly any body lying across the rear seats is at risk.
