I had some water in the trunk of my CT this summer after heavy rain. Not sure if it was dripping from the trunk lid or a leak.

didn’t do any driving in the rain until this week.

Monday I had some water drops on the floor and one of the shelf hooks had water drops. Dryed it and today I checked again today from inside and the hook was wet again. So I think it coming from inside.

Car is starting to smell humid.

called and it has to go in for checking the drains.

sixth time it has to go in this year. Heater, software, door handles. Starts to annoy me.

anyone else had this ?

I am curious what exactly “checking the drains” means. I keep on reading this as part of the 2yr service but does anyone know where these drains are?

Sorry to hear the repeated visits to the shop.

Will let you know.

Still stupid design that drains are used that need to be cleaned after 1.5 years of ownership or water is leaking in the trunk.

I hope they find something. Probably not because it takes some time before the water shows inside of the trunk

Car went in for a fix today. My wife dropped it off and got a panamera loaner. Got a text from the dealer in the afternoon it is fixed. I can pick it up again on Thursday (bank holiday tomorrow). Called to be sure it is fixed and got the answer that if I get text that I can pick it up is means it it fixed. After insisting they asked some one and they changed a little thing in the left tail light.

seams awkward that water that ingresses around the tail lights would find a way to the hook for the parcel shelf.

I hope it is fixed and then I would have to thank them for the real fast service.

And I hope it rains tomorrow to check if it really is fixed.

Picked up my car today, everything was taken care of and fixed. Fortunately it rained at lot yesterday so I could check. Asked the desk guy to check with me. Opened the trunk and saw water coming out exactly were the problem was. They only changed a rubber ring for the rear wiper. This is a know issue and they found some water ingress signs in the hatch door. Didn't find it necessary to look at the pictures I send them. Left again with the Panamera. The tech thinks it may come from the roof and not the door. Second time that I pick up my car for a fix that just isn't fixed when I pick it up

Apparently the text that you can pick it up does not mean it is fixed. Don't fix the problem and are rude, too. Maybe you can find a different service dealer.

Was thinking about that too. Just sent them an email. I can also go to two other dealers. But now I get a decent loaner and they do give appointments quickly. My heater was fixed within a week. And I could go in this time a couple of days after calling. Don’t know how it will go when I go to a dealership where K didnt purchase the car.

Got a call this afternoon. They now found the problem it was a rubber joint with cables to the hatch that was loose. They reattached and tested with a hose and it is dry now. Just picked it up and seams a plausible cause. Glad it’s solved.

And had excuses from the manager for the behavior of his staff.
