$25k/$170k is only about 15% off. You should be able to get at least 20% off. Probably more since the GTS probably has higher margins.I plan on purchasing a GTS and this offer came up from the dealer, $25K off a new 2023 GTS with a $170K MSRP.
Understanding exactly what’s in the refresh, and then putting a (subjective) price on that is the only way. That is, can you live with/without x, y or z, and is that worth waiting 6-12 months. Plus, it may be safe to assume the refresh won’t be discounted for a while. Thanks for the advice, I’ll sit and wait on the announcement. I’m set on buying and keeping. Doesn’t have to be the best deal anyone has ever gotten but I don’t want to leave easy money on the table.
That's usually Porsche's approach. Same with the new Macan EV--just a 4 and a 'Turbo' at launchThe facelift is revealed and so tempting, the issue is and my dealer was right…no GTS variants at this time. It will be another year or two for that?
Having read the full details of the refresh, I'd have to say it would be wiser (financially speaking) to wait. Any unsold inventory will only drop further in price in the coming weeks/months. So either go used (as @Redhot2474 says) for even bigger discounts, or wait and get a .2 new built to your spec. The facelift is revealed and so tempting, the issue is and my dealer was right…no GTS variants at this time.
