since the miles per charge gets so improved for 2025 Taycan models, what we do with our existing Taycan model? I am very frustrated. My car isn’t even 1 year old.
it's useless now - so I'll do you a solid and take it off your hands for $20 cash.

I feel for the OP, so out of the goodness of my heart I'll double Dave's offer to $40 - only because I could use a second Taycan I can keep in pieces in my garage to tinker with it. I'm even willing to wait will July for pickup, once the OP gets MY25 Tacyan delivered.

Get rid of new shiny mania. The manufacturers rely on you being addicted to it.
Exactly..... It's quite liberating (like ditching social media).

It gets easier as you get older.

Purchasing things, just because they are the newest/latest (or peer pressure) and not because they improve your life is futile.

You feel good for a short while...... then it becomes a normal part of your life......then your back to how you were before the purchase.

My experience.....
I went through a tough period in life and started spending a lot on designer clothes (retail therapy).
I would go to the shops and just buy anything I liked.

Then one time, I bought a (not inexpensive) Prada jumper......got home and found I had already bought the exact same one and had never even worn it!

Lesson learnt.

Nowadays, I think long and hard about exactly what I want. Then I go and buy that one item.
I get a lot more satisfaction out if it. ✌

OP would be doing you wrong by making you pay for their junk. I’ll just haul it away for free so they have a clear conscience.

You kidding, it's just depreciated another 10% - $18 is my final offer!

Don’t take their lowball offers, just throw it out with the trash and buy the new one.

You purchased an incredibly expensive, rapidly depreciating asset that is built around a technology currently on a Moores Law-like innovation curve. I’m genuinely curious what you were expecting to happen. You still drive one of the best cars in the world. It’s all good.

I do really think us first gen owners should get a power boost. The power difference between the two are huge up to 200lbft of torque in some trims. There has never been that large of a power bump in a Porsche model facelift. Splitting the difference would show good faith for us first gen adopters.

I've had my '23 GTS for just a couple of months. I sympathize with OP's post. To see the new one go 465 miles on a single charge leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth when I struggle with feeling like I'm constantly at a charging station. Mind you, I do drive it like a Porsche should be driven, but still, throw us a bone. If they would even just unlock say another 50 miles on our platform and maybe some HP/Torque gains (it's tech, I'm sure they have reserves), that would be enough for me to at least feel like we are not forgotten. #PieInTheSky

Drive your Taycan as usual. This is not lightning fast charging compare to Taycan I. People need rest for longer journey and I don't mind to stop once or twice for resting. If you need to drive 500 miles in one journey (I don't) every week then you may disappointed not to get a Taycan II.

My 23 GTS ST is just as wonderful this week as it was last week. I think the new one looks sharp - as it should - but the original does certainly not look or feel old. If I needed long distance range I would not get a Taycan in the first place. Luxury cars are not investments, they are consumption. Let us all enjoy our fabulous cars!

The only thing I want from the 2025 - is the new PCM SW stack. I love my car- hate the PCM- its the buggiest sw I have ever had in a car- worse than the first gen I-drive in BMW's.... of course I am assuming the new pcm sw is better ....
