There really doesn’t seem to be a category for this. Personally it seems to there are a bunch of posers here who do not seem to to care about Porsche in motorsport. Paint scratches, wheel dents can all suck it, this is about what makes Porsche what Porsche is. Here goes.

The weekend of May 11 Porsche not only won the Six Hours of Spa, they won Laguna Seca in both the GTP and GT Daytona Pro, and won the Formula E race in Berlin.

The Porsche winners at Spa were a privateer team, JOTA sport which legitimately led LeMans last year. Winning Spa for a privateer team is a big deal. Would dearly love to see privateer teams take on the factory teams and win, especially at LeMans.

Here in the Netherlands we have an extra service/product called Porsche24. With each km driven and attending to Porsche events you earn points, and these points are used to level up between levels. Right now it offers a fully hosted F1 GP weekend at Zandvoort and the Carrera Cup VIP tickets (includes a greet and meet with all drivers and with grid walk privileges etc). But also you can attend circuit days, but personally I will not join those with a station wagen EV ?. I think, and I’m using your words, a poser who cares about scratches.

Do you have equivalent apps to attend Porsche Motorsport events in your country?

I’m one of these posers but I got invited to this Porsche experience thing next Monday (going with my wife)… will drive the new electric Macan, refreshed Taycan, and some other toys on the track for a day. Food and logging included. Crazy that this normally costs around $1700 usd/person. Maybe I’ll un-pose afterwards, will report back.

Just curious, why?
It's happened before, although not anytime recently:

If history is an indicator, Porsche don't really care if they win with the works team or a privateer; there were many examples where they dismantled their own (even personal!) cars to help a privateer finish a race, or lent their works mechanics team.

The 963 was a bit off last year, although I remain unconvinced of the merits of Ferrari's winning of the centenary LM upon their return to the sport (BoP and all that). But this year's 963 car looks as unbeatable as could be, in both championships. Fingers crossed for LeMans.

I do not think that was a privateer team and regardless it was 30 years ago.

The WSC-95 (aka TWR WSC-95) was an oddity- "The car was not a factory-backed effort, yet was approved by Porsche and use some of their expertise and most of all their powerplant. Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) used the Jaguar XJR-14 chassis number 691, modified by Porsche."

Nurburgring 24 delayed due to fog. Porsche took a GTD Pro win and a second in GTP.

Ignoring the N24 results, congratulations to Kevin Estre and pole position at Lemans. Didn’t think Porsch had it in them. Also congratulations to Spike for pole in the LMP2 class and Manthey for second in LMGT3

It will be interesting how the race pans out.
Qualifying at the LM24 hours isn’t crucial for a good result. Unfortunately the rules penalise the good so difficult to come up with a race strategy if you are genuinely good to avoid too big a penalty next time out.
