Would you be bothered of these stole chips damaged on the car?

what can I do to fix it and make it look like new? Possible to get the original paint?

First picture is of the door handle, I’m not sure if this is a stone chip damage or someone drag their keys on it… what do you think?

You can't fix them without repainting, but they can look better with a paint pen. You need to have it done by a pro.

The question is: Are you bothered by them?

Would you say the damage on the handle look like a stone chip damage?

I'd give it a go with Porsche touch up paint. Repairing would require an expensive repaint anyways, so touch up paint is an inexpensive experiment which is not going to make it worse, but might alleviate your discomfort (and protect any surface susceptible to corrosion).

If you bought your car for driving, it's only a matter of time before you get stone chips. How long have you had your car (time/mileage)?

The mileage is 49000 km, what do you think regarding this? Does the mark in the door handle look like stone chip damage to you? To me it looks like a key has been dragged on that part…

touch up paint is it the fix that disappear or gets off when washing?

Based on just the pictures, I would speculate the door handle looks more like a scratch. As if someone rubbed against it when the door handles were extended (or else you'd see scratches on the door too.

No, it's more or less permanent -it's essentially painting over the chips (after cleaning them out) with the same paint as the rest of the car (you can buff/polish afterwards too). You will be able to see the repair if you look up close, but from farther away it will not be very obvious. If you've never done it before, either first research how to do it, or have someone do it for a small fee. Way cheaper than repainting entire panels.

Just can’t understand how the mark could have got on the door handle as it wasn’t there earlier yesterday and I parked it in a spot without any cars… is this fixable somehow on the door handle? Curious how much it cost for a new cover for the door handle…

I’m notnsure what these places that fixes these damages is called in norway

Hi, based on your sensitivity from this and your previous posts, I think you should hold out for a Taycan that has low mileage and zero scratches. Or possibly, one that has had PPF since new. The first and second rock chip or scratch are heartbreaking. Even if you are careful, there can always be a rock kicked up on the highway that penetrates PPF. This is real life, not a showroom. Professionals can repair chips and scratches with paint, clear coat, and/or compounding and polishing. There is a limit to how many times you can do that to the same place. If instead, you want to negotiate a price, take the photos to a shop and get a quote to repair and deduct that from your offer.

The door handle is a scratch. The stone chips you can repair yourself. Get some 1200 wet & dry and just smooth the edges of the stone chip. Now get your paint and using literally the tip of a sewing needle just touch in the damage. The pen itself is far too big. Use the absolute minimum amount of paint you can. Let it dry then apply a generous blob of clear lacquer. Let it dry then use the wet and dry to flat the lacquer smooth if it’s proud. Polish.
Done. Takes a bit of time but once done you won’t see the stone chips unless you’re about 3 inches away.

I would get it fixed and ppf the whole car.

Ours have been fully ppf'ed since new and it has been a godsend. Saved us from paint work multiple times. The investment has easily paid off.
