2023 ST, no letter yet but recall was there on the My Porsche website. I booked online for 16th August but just been phoned to be told its mid September now.
MY23 TTST. Letter Monday, but had already booked in for the recall, plus a couple of other things 20th September.

Got my letter a couple of days ago. Tewkesbury are booking these for mid October so I will wait for the end of October and combine it with my service (quoted £551 for that). Slightly irritated at a £15 charge for the insurance for a loaner for the day but not really worth worrying about

yes £15 for the loaner seems churlish given this is a recall

Mine was booked in for September but my brakes failed today.

Trying to sort it out with Porsche Assist (AA) - who dont seem to have a clue what they are doing.
Waited all evening for a callout which just got pushed further and further back.
It's going to be too late now - so I have cancelled it and will try again tomorrow.

Owning a Taycan is just painful and stressful.

How 'failed' ? Classic long pedal and loss of front circuit? Fluid warning light etc? Had you inspected the hoses recently?

I hadnt got round to inspecting the hoses yet.

It was only MOT'd at the OPC 2 weeks ago and I assumed they would have at least done a visual then, given the recall?

And it was already booked in early Sept for another warranty issue - when they were also going to do the brake recall.

I assumed (wrongly) between the two it would be ok.
I will check the hoses before it gets taken away next week.

Ever since I saw a leak was a possibility I have been checking the brake fluid level daily.
Mine is due to go in tomorrow and it is a 2 to 3 hour job so I will wait.

Quick update after my brake failure.

Porsche Assist were much better the next day. It seemed to go along a different channel once it was tied in to this recall.

The previous day they were just trying to get an AA bod to come and get the car driveable?
After waiting hours, I cancelled the callout and started afresh the next morning.

This time got a very competent case handler.
Linked it to the recall and very quickly arranged transport (next Tue) and a Macan loaner from dealer.

Credit where due, they were very good this time.
