Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find a photo of my car's sister. I'm not sure if it was a special order that a customer backed out on, but it was listed for a couple of weeks right around the end of 2023 at Woodland Hills, so I assume that it is likely somewhere in the LA area.

San Marino looks quite like Gentian. Aetna quite like Neptune.

Not worth the 5 figure premium IMO.

Totally agree and was thinking the same. Except San Marino is a very BMW color and amethyst is black unless you're the perfect, bright lighting.
Not worth the $13,500 charge and battling for an allocation.

When you order a custom color through BMW ("individual") they put a custom badge inside your engine bay that says BMW Individual and your color name.
Does Porsche do something similar for PTS cars to signify it's a PTS color?

I believe you have to be even more hardcore and go through what they call the Sonderwunsch program in order to get something similar. I'll say this: my SA did not point me at any sort of special badge or decal.
