Last couple of days wireless Apple CarPlay will work and then simply disconnect after a few minutes. f I click on carplay, I get a message in the PCM to "Please enable Bluetooth and WiFi to use Apple CarPlay". When I try to do this, Bluetooth and WiFi are off and are greyed out (even when car is stopped), so they cannot be selected.

The only way to fix is to either switch off car or reboot PCM but the problem re-occurs after a few mins. Like I said, I tried the PCM reboot (two fingers in top right) and today I also removed my phone. It reconnected and the problem seemed to have been fixed but re-occured. Happens consistently now. If I plug into wired, it will often not connect to carplay either.

Next issue is possibly a coincidence but not sure. Car parked in garage, warm weather, low humidity. When I leave in he evening, I get the "warn and brake assist limited" warning in the dash. Then I get a warning about a headlight control error. This prevents me from using lane assist and ACC.

I have wiped all sensors on windscreen & at front/bottom of the car, hoping that fixes it but have not tested.

Anyone experienced and fixed these issues? Thanks in advance

I had the same for a few days ( 4S SP model 25 ) . sometimes can not connect at all in carplay. Did erase the phone & reinstall. I could make it work when leaving the car for 2 hours.

If you google 'taycan warn and brake assist' you will find several threads in forum about this.
Most seem to indicate a temporary problem that goes away.
This post points to a system fault: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...or-leading-to-other-errors.13713/#post-208364
Thank you. This happened last night and I had a feeling that cleaning the camera would fix it but I thought I would add it in case it was related to the CarPlay issue. I couldn’t find the CarPlay issue based on the message I got which surprised me. (“Please enable” etc)

Well cleaning the cameras didn’t fix and the CarPlay issue is reoccurring even though I removed the phone and removed the Taycan from the phone as well. Also rebooted PCM.

The WBA and other issues seem to not happen initially after an overnight. then after I park and go back, the issue reappears.

Is there anyway to reboot the dash or is that basically a power off situation only?

Latest update. This is a weird “fix” for the multiple sensor related issues. At least for now. When the car turns on, the amber/yellow warning comes on in the dash, bottom left (pic of car with line through it and the lanes on either side of the car).

I noticed that if I put the car in gear and then put it in park, the light goes off and I don’t have the issue. If I drive as normal, I am going to get the three warnings and lane keep nor ACC can be selected.
