Thanks W1nge. After picking it up on Wednesday evening the car was left over night and the issue remained on Thursday. On Thursday night, the car was left over night for the same amount of time and this morning the brakes are great. Only difference was I charged it for a few hours last night.

Mystery.

Mine is in at Porsche Reading today too (working in their little business centre upstairs). Interestingly, as well as the hoses, they said there is another software recall/update to be done to re-programme the brake pedal feel as well. Something to do with positioning I was told. I was a separate work item, so not part of the brake hoses.

That would be the WPK0 recall to reprogram the PSM - I believe everyone gets it at the same time as the brake hoses. You'll find many people on these posts find the brake pedal feel very different (improved?) after the work but for me I didn't notice any change.

The difference is amazing, no more noticeable change from region braking to physical braking, activating Hold needs a very short nudge now instead of a massive push, and the brakes feel like they should in a Porsche. This was a huge upgrade for the car IMO

WPK0 - full reprogramming of the PSM (Stability Management) which makes the big change to pedal feel (has been well documented elsewhere).

TSB attached here and explains all.

Depending on your car's build there may be other software updates.

My brakes do feel far better now on steel only braking and there is no awareness of the 'transition' from regen to steel braking. I'm still adamant this only kicked in either 48 hours after the recall job was complete, or after charging the car, because for 24 hours the brakes felt far worse in all regards.

(Also - the centre armrest cigarette lighter socket - this used to turn off after 30 mins of the car being turned off, and it stopped doing this after the recall and remained live...meaning the dash cam I have stayed on. Well, after 72 hours this also fixed itself and has returned to normal. )

PS - credit to Guildford - the courtesy car was a fully loaded Turbo S ST.

Damnit! Mine is going to Guildford Wednesday for this plus the 2 year service and I said no to a courtesy car and thought I'd just throw the bike in the back and cycle home.

Interested to see how the brakes feel after this as the pedal seems a little squishy lately, moreso than I remember anyway.

I got mine back last night and it’s worse then when it went it. Occasionally lots of travel on the pedal and again, an occasional strange sound when coming to a standstill.

I've just been to check mine, which had a PCM update applied while in for the brake hose replacement- the Dashcam powered by the armrest 12v outlet still powers up after the car becomes operational, I assume it still powers down around 30 mins after locking.

Did you get to the bottom of this as my 12v sockets appears to be permanently on. I can connect to my Dashcam via WiFi from my house meaning the camera has power to it.

I never had an issue...it was Rob, but his update is that it fixed itself after 72 hours (see post #266)
