Mines in as we speak. Got a Panama 4 courtesy car. God they’re crap. Feels like sn old man’s car. Can’t wait to get mine back.
There are those on here that love them....

But I agree with you. I think I likened the eHybrid I borrowed earlier this year to a smoking lounge ?

Since have the recall my brake pedal now on occasion has lots of travel. Is this how it should feel as it never did before?

My only 'fix' suggestion is to try plugging the car in to charge. Bizarrely, this resolved the issue for me!

Thanks but it’s been charged since. Porsche want me to call in to see a technician but the issue is intermittent so doubt a 5 minute chat would solve anything. I’ve asked to get it booked In again

If it's inconsistent, no.

Definitely not how it should be. Should remain constant as per the day you had the change.

Mine was done a few weeks back and still 'perfect'.

No courtesy cars until December but seem ok with me driving a car I consider unsafe until then.

Had my brake hoses changed on Wednesday together with 2 year service and brakes software update. The brakes have never felt right on my Taycan, certainly not as good as the 4S I had for 10 months before I moved to the turbo. The loan car was a CT4 and the brakes on that were so much better, amazingly so.

I collected mine at the end of the day and drove home. The brake pedal was as spongy as I have ever felt it - I almost took it straight back, but did wonder if some of this was because I had been experiencing the better brakes on the newer CT.

The next morning I went out. Brakes had reverted to discs to start with, which felt fine. Then moved back to regen. I couldn’t believe the difference. They seemed to have recalibrated themselves against using the discs and are now so much better. Less pedal travel needed to brake and much better blending between regen and discs. Almost as good as the gen2 CT that I borrowed. I think it is the software that has done it - I am certainly pleased with the result. Just note that if you get the software updated you might not see the difference until the next time it has the chance to use the discs, probably the next day

Just have 2 years service at 18k km on the digital clock. I decided to get it done earlier to avoid garage busy January.
They had change the heater part, brake hoses replace due to recall, brake fluid replace (free of charge on recall), heater filter change, pollen filter replace, health check and pcm updated.
I am pleased with the car only have 10% worn on brakes and tyres after 18,000 km.
The brakes are responsively well after the service.
Next service due at 50,000 km or 2 years.

Similar - had a £100k+ Panamera courtesy car and I can’t recall driving a more boring car for many years.
A little or far worse than the Taycan in every area except range and phone wireless charging (Taycan feels like it’s cooking my iPhone and adds only a few % charge in a hour, and only works if I position the phone with millimetre perfection!!).
