Hi Folks. Anyone experienced this? ... any ideas how to fix please?
Moved my CTT off the drive to allow the car behind off - When I reversed back the camera was completely blurred - thought it needed cleaning - Which is weird cos it was clean and working last time I drove it.
Gave it a gentle thumb-wipe as I passed going back inside - and the camera felt loose - touched it again to check and the little lens assembly fell into my hand. Not the camera itself just the little mushroom shaped lens assembly.
It was fine last time out - There is no sign of any impact on the bumper - and I have only parked publicly a handful of times and always away from other cars. It was working fine the day before yesterday.
It is not threaded and does not seem to click into place - it goes back into position perfectly without any problem - but does not attach and just falls out as you remove your hand - There does not appear to be any fixing such as adhesive - there is a ring-groove which could be for a circlip? no sign of a ciirclip on the floor and I am not sure how you would access it inside the camera other than remooving the who thing.
I have covered the lens apperture with tape as a temp fix.
Any help would be appreciated - thanks.
