Do you also have the Porsche mobile charger ? Can you try if it works on a normal plug ?

I have had this message sometimes and it was always the charger and not the car. Sas it when the earth failed in a holliday house. Also when the timer o the charger stopper the charger.

I also had the car charger defect but that gave a different error message.

Thanks Abdul - I'm getting it checked at the dealership next week.
Having said that I've now discovered over the weekend that the Wall Charger (Hypervolt) is not talking to the Intelligent Octopus Go application, so I suspect a comms problem.
The technical wizards are on it but no feedback yet.
I also had the same with OI....don't discount that it may be the car! That's what turned out to be the case in mine

zappi charger stopped after 12 minutes,pink light on charger ,red light on car.

I plugged in Porsche mobile charger and it works all be it takes days it says.

problem is I have 8kms of range left !

im wondering did car go into limp mode as it was so low ?

Interesting - Ive taken my car to a public AC 7kW charge point and it works fine, takes hours and costs more. So far its proved to me that its not the car. I suspect its a comms problem between the electricity supplier and the wall box supplier.
Taking car to Porsche Dealership for a shakedown....

Zappi have told me this is common problem with the taycan they say and to do a pcm reboot.
Hardly ,but I'll give it a try .

I'm getting the same error occasionally using EA DC chargers, sometimes 5-10 minutes after the charging started. The error goes away after I restart the charging sessions.

I'm getting a red light on the charging panel and an error message " An error occurred when charging the high-voltage battery ".
I've tried resetting the wallbox and checked the vehicle settings.
The vehicle still refuses to charge

I'm still getting the error - any experience or suggestons?

Vehicle checked at Dealersip, AC & DC charging all OK ,no fault
codes.
Wall charger Installer here today - fully checked and working OK.
Problem has been with Electricity Supplier app which controls charging at best rates and was not allowing charger to work. After extensive debugging, disconnecting and re-setting, all set up for charging overnight at off-peak, low rate.
Hope it works!!
Thanks to everyone for their comments and suggestions - much appreciated.

Did Octopus install your wallbox?
No, very sore point. I ordered and paid for octopus to supply & install but they let me down big time. I cancelled the order, insisted on a full refund then got a independent contractor to supply & install.
Octopus technical support is non existant.

Hi, I just got a Taycan (first post) as well and experienced something similar. I already had a Tesla wall charger because I was initially planning to get a Tesla. When I first plugged it in, I also got a red light. The issue turned out to be the Tesla charger’s scheduled charging setting. I had to manually override it, and then the Taycan started charging.
Now, every time I plug it in, the red light stays on until midnight, when the Tesla charger’s schedule activates power.

It’s possible that your wall charger also has a setting or schedule enabled that’s causing the issue. Hope that helps.
