It was originally silver, and the interior is dark with red accents. I believe y'all have an idiom of "dog's breakfast" to describe that sort of combination. The good news is that, at least so far, everybody gets so mesmerized trying to figure out just what exactly is going on with the exterior color(s) that they don't pay much attention to the interior.

My GV60 was Sao Paulo Lime, loved that colour.

I chop cars fairly frequently, but this taycan (or macan) will be for 4 years, 60k miles, the spec must be right but to a budget.

£14.7k in options in my top spec.

inspired by all this I have been playing with my configuration. It will be a CT4. I was going to add Innodrive but I think auto cruise control will do me and I save nearly £1k with that change. I am debating removing Sports Chrono based on the discussion above. But, I like the clock and I need the heated steering wheel. I see you can add both (well a compass instead of a clock) and it saves another £560. All I would lose then is Sports Plus I think which I expect I can live without on a CT4 and something to do with pre heating the battery.

Good decisions to save £1.5k or will I be really missing stuff. On another thread I was asking for advice and the final thing beyond all this is colour. Volcano Grey or Dolomite. Pretty sure VG wins.

I think either Ice Grey / Genetian/ Purple sky are my choices.

- Full leather interior, if you can! Not sure with this gen, but the last had a rubber dash which imo felt extremely cheap for a 100k car.
- 4+1 seats, convenient for the odd time you need to carry an extra passenger.
- Electric Sport Sound, I drive with it all the time & it’s amazing IMO.
- Pan roof, I understand it’s expensive and you have a limited budget & are trying to maximise range, but it sure is nice as it opens up the cabin more.
- BOSE, same applies with the pan roof, not strictly ‘necessary’ but will be nice for you to listen to a quality stereo system on your commute!

Im flip flopping more than a pair of Havaiana's.

In order to have bose, I'd have to deff go base colour or go ice grey and drop rear axle steer.

Im loving Ice Grey more and more tbf, especially with gloss black highlights.

The sky purple looks amazing and would definitely stand out though.

I think I've accepted i have to get the upgraded 20" aeros.

Love base black, but the upkeep, would definitely need ceramic coating ?

I would ideally like to add something to the interior to brighten it, whether that's neodyme, or aluminium trim, or coloured belts.

Ultimately I can't have everything.

The biggest saving would be the wheels ?

Looks like the steering wheel mode switch is standard now.

Also, although when I click HUD, it says you require privacy or insulated glass etc if you select grey windscreen tint for £89, it accepts HUD.

As ive said before, I love a HUD, I use it alot on the motorway. If the configurator is correct, I'll select that now.

The beige upholstery would look good with the ice grey as it’s a light complimentary colour. It went really nicely with my previous coffee beige exterior.

Personally I wouldn’t spec neodyne - while tonally it blends well with beige it looks a bit bling for me (but not bad).

I would however stay away from both beige and neodyne interior if going the purple or gentian route - too much of a clash imo and not in a good way.

On the HUD I would take it or leave it. I find myself switching it off as sitting low down it tends to obstruct my line of vision and the instrument cluster is perfectly placed. On my other half’s iX3 where I’m seated higher it’s in a perfect position and works very well.
