Very happy to have joined the ice grey club! For a hot minute, I was nearly in the frozen berry club… but saw sense in the end and fell in love with the IGM.

Over the moon with my 4S ST packed with lots of options. I’ve had two 718 Caymans and a Macan S, but this is my favourite Porsche so far. I keep standing at my window and staring outside at it because it’s just so stunning!

Enjoy it. Mine has almost 40k km on it and is still a joy to use. It's still turning heads as it was when new.

Some pics under different lighting conditions for my new Ice Grey Metallic Turbo here in the UK :)

This is by far the best colour for a Taycan - nothing but compliments and really brings out the "lines" on this amazing motor. MY carbon Sports design kit really pops too!

Finally, this moment has come to join the club. First real wash and detail as my PPF shop did not detail the interior, so the pleasure was all mine, and I do not mind.

First bath is the best:

Then just enjoying being clean for the first time since the long journey:

Body Color Option = Ice Grey

There is no way to order them new or replacement for the VIN from factory, since it is Exclusive Manufactur, per my dealer and Suncoast. I tried to inquire about it.

Damn it. Haha. How close the the paint match between the wheels and body color?

I'll keep an eye out for a Mission E in Platinum Grey then, seems more common in the forums

I think your wheels are super awesome and go well with GTS ST. I cannot see how any Mission Es in any color will go along with your ride.

I think the way I have it goes best with a Turbo sedan. The paint match is exact and that is where I get most compliments as it is unexpected to have the wheels so proportionally perfect in the body color, with exposed calipers, resulting in a stunning look in person.

I wanted to see for myself how revised Mission Es look in person and concluded they are awful, as in they overwhelm instead of complement the look. The proportions are off in pictures and in person and they do look like life savers, but oh well, they may add 10-20 miles range, that does not matter to me.

If you can open this picture full screen, this is where you see that the proportions are off.

Agreed on the new Mission E style is way too chunky. I'm surprised that most J1.2 new aero wheel styles are terrible redesigns.

The look I was going for was from this Taycan. I was in love with this particular car due to its color combo of Ice Grey with Platinum Grey Mission E and slate grey interior. I made an offer but couldn't close the deal. More happy I landed with my current setup though, and my CF blades are very unique and makes an otherwise chunky looking style thin by drawing attention towards the silver part of the spoke

I have looked through all the pics here and am thinking about getting ice grey or crayon.

Judging from the pics, I am gonna love this color in darker settings, and that's most likely when it outperforms crayon...

What keeps me from choosing this color is that on quite a few pics here it has a blue hue and in a very bright setting it looks all but white.

Now, I have read that some users here said that you have to see it in person to really understand the look of this color, and I'm gonna do so tomorrow. However, I'm not gonna see it in all kinds of settings, so I wanna know if users here feel like it ever comes out as too bright or too blue?

Already visited the Porsche center and in cloudy, slightly wet weather it looked ice blue and very cold and bright. Saw it on a Taycan and a 992.. I immediately felt that it’s not what I‘m after..

What I like about it is the indoors modern grey hue.. Hence I understand why you guys love it..
