Just had 4 new Michelin’s P4 S put on, 305 rear, 265 front.
All (f&r) inflated to 3.0 bar or 44 PSI.
What is everyone else running pressure wise; these seem high to me.
Cross Turismo Turbo, MY22.
Only ever me in the car, no luggage.

I have a '21 4s and use factory recommended 40 psi front and rear. Have perfectly even tread wear at over 30k miles on original Conti run flats.

Just had my winters put back on the other day...was shocked at the lack of grip compared to the summers I'd driven on the same route earlier that day. I don't recall a similar experience last year, so I checked the pressures- the dealer had them at 2.5 front 2.3 rear, contrary to 2.7 all round that the PCM had correctly been set to. Now that I've corrected the pressures, the relative lack of grip is still apparent. I'd hoped that it might be temporary, caused by storage, but it's not looking so. They feel less confidence-inspiring than the summers did the previous week when it was snowing and nearer freezing.

I've also been surprised how much less grippy they are. The newer Eagle F1's Summers do seem excellent/improved but I think the combo of the winter tyres and the significantly thinner/less wide surface really makes a huge difference. I've been 'treading' pretty carefully since I've had them on.

Thank you all for your feedback, I think I’ll take some out as 44 psi all round seems a little excessive.

Now that I've finally examined them in daylight I've discovered that they were all fitted on the wrong sides (tread not rotating in the intended direction). Now corrected and initial impression is that grip is improved, though I suspect that is mainly psychological- I doubt there's been enough surface water to make the difference apparent.

blimey. Porsche fitted mine and hadn’t even crossed my mind to check. I’ve actually upped the pressure a bit and despite readings being correct, they were all down by a few PSI. Porsche did also put the TPMS onto all seasons instead of winters. They do feel a little better now. Same as you may be psychological. Either way, summers grip very noticeably better in on freezing conditions, a little scary almost. I’m gonna brave the wind tomorrow and check sides!
