Holy hell, do I feel you on this one. I take a fair number of calls on my commute and I was looking forward to the reminders. The calendar notifications are befuddling. The only consistent thing is that they are always after the actually meeting has occurred. Sometimes a solid 12 hours later. Sometimes the next morning. I mostly love my Taycan, but on the short list of truly useless is this feature.
Even more befuddling is that some of my Taycan's calendar notifications can timely, so no consistency at all. So strange that Porsche put *some* effort into this but not enough to make it actually work reliably.

The extreme variability in outcomes (i.e., no reminder, relevant reminder, totally flawed reminder) is is an impressive accomplishment regardless of the underlying reason!
Guys, calendars are still a relatively new technology. You’re going to have to give Porsche time to suss this stuff out.

Stick to alpha releases of software if you are impressed by such things :p

Here in the UK automatic gearboxes were really rare when I learned to drive and really inefficient 3-ratio lumps of junk at that, so I had never driven an automatic and most others too.
They are more common now but I think you still don't get a full driving license if you take your driving test in an automatic car and are not licensed to drive a manual, which is probably a sensible safety precaution.
I transitioned to a written diary to a smart phone fairly early on but still just check my day in the one place even though things miraculously appear on my tablet and laptop too.
I hadn't considered my car as a possible recipient of such beneficence!

lol….do the 911 PDK drivers ever try to pass their car off as a manual? Seems like there’s a lot of “it’s not an automatic” folks in that crowd. ?

PDK is clearly automatic, even though a manual over-ride is possible and it is better than most drivers can manage with 3 pedals and an H-pattern shift!

Well, another 2 years and another installment of “my wife forgot how cars work” since she had to drive the Macan again while the Taycan was in for service.

When she drives the Taycan, she keeps her thumb over the overrun recup button and toggles it off and on as she drives. She calls it the “slow” button.

I guess muscle memory caused her to do the same in the Macan. Believe it or not, the ICE Macan does not have a regen button there. 🙃 It has the PDK manual button instead.

“And all of the sudden the car just started getting really loud for no reason,” is how it was explained to me. 😐

My Taycan was in for a recall heater replacement and tire change for the last couple of days, and we got an ICE Macan as a loaner. The thing with the key that isn't really a key because you can't take it out that you described in the OP always gets me as well. I frequently just stop the car, put it in park, open the door, and spend a few moments wondering why it is now screaming bloody murder at me.

I got one up on you guys and wonder when I could plug it into the forum so we can have some fun with it. This poor soul bought a 1M pound car, showing it off around London, but then does not know how to open the door to get back in - pure gold - and everyone is filming! Sad reality of rich and famous that would not spend time learning a thing. I guess that kind of money cannot buy ease of use these days where the car can just tell you, boy you do not care to learn nothing about me, how about a multiple choice..., but instead he did this " While pulling up at the swanky Savoy Hotel, Gordon could not work out how to open the handle-less dihedral door on the British car - leaving him asking photographer and car enthusiast, Freddie Atkins, who was filming: 'Where's the manual?' " Also, I wonder for our UK owners, is that how you dress when you are going to a "swanky" hotel in London?

I like that our doors are easy to open from inside and outside.
