Installed a Tesla series # 3 charger at home. Sold the Tesla / bought a Porsche TAYCAN 4.

Simple - just plugged the Porsche in and charging starts which is exactly what uses to happen. However now, it starts green, stripes green then ‘click’ defaults to blue.

Even the dash comes alive and shows the battery screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated …

Ditto on selling the Tesla and moving on to a Taycan. Kept my Tesla V3 EVSE and it has charged perfectly for over 2 years (it is a NACS charger, not the universal one, and I use a Tesla Tap adapter). On plugging in mine always cycles the green stripe twice then goes blue, which indicates it is on hold (I charge overnight and the car controls the charging timing). Red would indicate a fault on the EVSE. The car charging port light shows steady green indicating things are OK and it is waiting (pulses when charging). Sounds like something changed on either the EVSE or the car as far as when to charge or the charge limit. If you haven't, check how the charging is set in the car. I've found the app to be less than reliable when cell signal is marginal so it might look fine but something could have changed in the car.

We need more information to help you. You are not even telling us the model year of your Taycan or any charging config assuming that your Tesla charger is set up to just provide power when the car is calling for it.

Blue state means that charging is on Hold and does not indicate an error. One example when this happens is when a Timer is set in the future, the car has too much time to charge to the Timer target, so it goes into a Hold state until it decides it is time to charge.

Please share all your car charging settings and SoC when you plug the car in when you get the Blue light.

If you're coming from a Tesla, your buggest problem will be setting up the timers and profiles of the Porsche charging set up.

Blue just means it's waiting, either it's been programmed for cheap overnight time, or the car is on pause until it needs to charge.

Taycan 22 Turbo S CT with latest Tesla chargepoint with wireless access and type 2 connector is fine.
