Hey guys just wondering if there are any nicer looking 20” alloys that have the same fitment as the aero turbo ?

It would be great to swap alloys and keep the tyres.

It is a shame they do not offer better looking 20" rims. I had 20" on my last 4S CT which were great and looked OK. I've now got a facelift 4S ST with 21" mission E in gloss black which look much sportier but ride is firmer and resilience to pot holes will not be as good as 20s

I love the look of 21” spyder but don’t wanna sacrifice range and pot hole resilience right now. London uk has quite a lot.
Yep, they would be my first choice. I bought a stock facelift 4S ST and I really don't like mission e in bi colour but the gen 2 mission e in black gloss look great.
I'm near Beaconsfield and drive in and through London frequently so I'm familiar with rubbish roads. Even the M40 has some nasty potholes these days ?

Your mission E are facelift version. The outer side are wider (the bi-colour bit). Just saw your profile pic and they look nice. They would be 2nd choice behind spyder. CT 21” wheels are really nice too. Saw some on eBay

Yes, I'm pleased with them, but like you I would have preferred Spyders, in matt black preferably.
Pics of my 20" turbo aeros and generally 2 21" Mission E

My aero turbo are slightly different from the facelift version. I quite like mine but the black spyder and mission e look epic

Mine were 20" Gen 1 Turbo S Aero which I think were only available on the CT at the time.

Wheelbase alloys can provide wheels from many manufacturers in fitments that suit the Taycan, though some may require adapter rings. Something to be careful of is the load rating of the wheels. The Taycan is a heavy car, many (most?) wheels are manufactured to suit lighter cars, so the risk of damage from potholes and the like becomes higher. As an example, BBS make an FI-R wheel in a 20" fitment that could go on a Taycan, and vendors will happily sell them to you, but BBS themselves say it doesn't have a high enough load rating (the 21" version does).

I'm looking for 20" / 19" rims for the winter months to replace my gorgeous 21" spyders.

I'm probably sticking with Porsche wheels, just to keep everything standard.

I appreciate as long as I return to stock on handover, VW finance probably won't care, but there's just a niggle in the back of my mind that aftermarkets might bite me on the backside at some point (paranoia I guess).
