If resale is a consideration, do not buy a Taycan.

I specifically bought my car *BECAUSE* it was Mamba green.Avoid Mamba Green, Frozen Berry, Beige and Frozen Blue - marmite colours
Gentian Blue, Volcano Grey, Black, Silver, White (various including Ice Grey) are all safe for resale.
Personally, black then grey (not a fan of white).
Check the UK dealer stock and look at the colour filter to see a profile of popular colours
Interior - two tone black / crayon or black. black / beige is probably safe too. Avoid blueberry (marmite again).
I like sheep (...to eat!)I specifically bought my car *BECAUSE* it was Mamba green.
Black and white are for sheep.
No colour to means monochrome to me, ie black, white, grey, silver etc..No color....clear would be interesting.
I like to see what's the longest number of monochrome cars all parked in a single row on a car park.No colour to means monochrome to me, ie black, white, grey, silver etc..
I would go with the colour you really like. Porsche have a long history of interesting colours. It’s a Porsche an opportunity to express yourself. Personally I dont like black and grey cars, they’re dull and ubiquitous. They don’t show up the detailed sculptured lines of the Taycan. My pet hate is Vesuvius grey - why have a car the same colour as the road? Truth is that this is a personal choice, there is no right or wrong only opinion. So my advice is go with what you love, eschew fashion and resale - there’s always demand for a Porsche and someone out there will have the same opinion as you.My preference would be the White. What do you think about a Cherry Metallic (as it is a second favorite)with black/aromatic Beige? I'm just anxious about resale but the car has all specs I wanted.
My daughter calls my mamba green Taycan the ‘look at me car’ and my wife ‘the flying green bogey’ but it’s just a gorgeous car and I’ve never had a car that has sooo many compliments for its colour. I have had dozens of strangers stop me to express admiration and not one to say they dislike it. Sadly now retired by Porsche and not even on the standard paint to sample.I watched the use pricing for Taycan 4CRs nationwide in the U.S. for about five months and recorded everything in a spreadsheet, weighted the features and then ran them all through ChatGPT. I found in my non-scientific analysis, that sports features ranked most valuable (faster car= more money), then safety features. I also found that colors went FASTER.
I wanted a color. At any given moment, there were about 20 4CT available for sale in the U.S. Almost all were Black, White or Grey. If a Mamba Green or Frozen Blue Metallic popped up, they were sold in less than a week. Carmine red sold in about a week. Maybe I saw a Frozen Berry.
I'll probably get razzed for this, but It's my humble opinion that most people buy black, white or grey to (1)because it's cheaper or (2) because they think other people value those colors more or resell , not because they like them more. (Before you respond with a anger filled post about how you love black, I'm sure you do. I'm generalizing.)
Back to your original question. I purchased mine for about 50% what someone (bless his heart) purchased it new about three and a half years earlier. The differential price (or speed when you sell it) based on color will not have a material impact on your used sale price. (Although you might sell it just a smidge faster if you get a color.)
All that said, I LOVE Mamba Green and get tons and tons of complements. Plus, I feel it's safer/people are more likely to see me in a snow storm or at dusk/less likely to hit me. Although I am concerned that cops will think, "Hey, let me pull over that sexy bright green show off porche, instead of the other guy in the less flashy car going a little faster..."
If I do a long journey with my 9 year old Granddaughter she can be occupied counting coloured cars, they are pretty unusual here in the UK, probably around 1 in 10 last time she did it...I like to see what's the longest number of monochrome cars all parked in a single row on a car park.
I once counted about 20 before a single colour interrupted it.
One of my granddaughters christened mine the pickle car. I like it a lot but green is my favourite colour and now it is retired I would be content enough with the oak green, though I intend to keep my mamba/blackberry car indefinitely. My daughter calls my mamba green Taycan the ‘look at me car’ and my wife ‘the flying green bogey’ but it’s just a gorgeous car and I’ve never had a car that has sooo many compliments for its colour. A unique and bold combination but brilliant. One of my granddaughters christened mine the pickle car. I like it a lot but green is my favourite colour and now it is retired I would be content enough with the oak green, though I intend to keep my mamba/blackberry car indefinitely.
