Hi Luke

Apologies if this is not the right place to ask ir if its already been asked. With Germany announcing a 2nd lockdown do you know if this will impact on the manufacturing and deliveries of the Taycan to the UK or anywhere else for that matter?

It will probably cause some delays down the pipeline. That being said, none of my current orders have shown any changes in delivery dates at the moment.

Thanks Luke. Thats reassuring. Think I'm being impatient. As my car is through my place of work (who use a broker) its difficult to get any update. Feels like I can't go straight to the dealership for any updates. Thanks again

She just did the link through the main screen and on hers could choose which phone to process songs and such. the was a down arrow by phone name on her screen to choose which one.
I think the car allows up to 8 devices.

Are you using CarPlay, or the car's phone connection via blue tooth? I have to plug in the USB to play songs from my phone instead of using Apple music from the car which doesn't work when I'm not in good cell service. Thanks for helping.

Do you have music downloaded to your phone? Or is it that your phones carrier works better than Verizon?
If the latter I think you could make your phone a hotspot and have your car attached to it assuming you have sufficient hotspot data which I know can be complicated.

I have the songs downloaded to my phone. If there's enough data connection to use the phone as a hot spot, the car could also use it's sim card to play apple music on it's own. We live in the mountains where the cell service is really spotty. I'm on ATT like the car. Once you have the two phones connected to the car, you aren't in car play, right? Porsche told me that you can't use the blue tooth and the usb at the same time, so once I go to car play, the phone is on car play, not the PCM.

If you were in the US I could use your commission number to look at updates on your build, but I don't believe I can access them since you're in the UK.

No worries Luke thanks for the offer I appreciate that. We're going in lockdown so who know what's will happen. I just hope they don't increase the price of my vehicle, which is what they did last time

@LukeManning On the 4S, is there a way to paint the bottom bumper To the same the colour of the car like the Turbo does? Or is it a different bumper type?

It's possible, i've paitend almost all the nasty black buper plastics in car colour. For me thats how it suppose to leave the factory....

Very nice! Did they sand down the pieces in order to get the paint to adhere? Or did you have them use some kind of special paint/primer?

They pulled out all the oil with some thinner, then baked them @60° , sanded - primer -sanded - final paint

just a quick question. On the taycan 4S whether it be US model or Uk model. Can we actually change the speedometer reading (the actual speed) from miles to km and km to miles or only the tripand consumption data can be changed ?
