Anyone have diy instructions on how to remove the lower lip? Don’t have to remove the whole bumper?

How’s the project going mate ?
Hi mate. Got everything. I just want to get the front main spoiler sprayed in satin black and the trims CF wrapped. Just not had time yet.
As for the rear, I have scrapped the idea of changing the bumper (dont want the hassle of colour matching etc). Instead Im going to use the CF trims (which need some work ie ssnding to remove scratches then either resin or lacquer on top) or get them wrapped.
These trims will be shaped at the rear to blend in with the existing bumper trim - similar to pic attached.
its a slow process but will look great when done ??
Also jave the side skirts but will only use the inserts, wrap with CF and bond to existing.

Nice ??. My car has sports design package and it’s missing the turbo front lip :) .

gonna be on the look out. If I recall it’s the:
Plastic grill surround - connects to front sensors
Colour coded wing
Grille
Bottom piece

I have all of those parts from Ebay and carbon skinning the lower trims (real carbon fibre application). Going to take a while but hopefully get the results Im looking for.
Installed this earlier, real CF (from EasyComposites) 👍🏼
I am re-doing the front trim as smudged the CF against the basecoat so wont look right.

This has been asked in a couple of threads but no one has given a definitive answer so far.

Does the whole front bumper cover need to be removed in order to remove the bottom front lip and lower grill?

EDIT - I have now created a comprehensive guide on this which can be found here:

https://www.deutschespeed.com/threads/taycan-front-lip-replacement-complete-guide.1107/
Hi Moonstone,

It looks as though that website is no longer working.
Could you send me a link or the guide by any chance?
From what I have seen on here, there is no definitive, thorough guide to removing the front bumper, just a few articles or snippets on removing parts lile the crash guard or front apron...

Thanks
