Porsche Taycan Can you beat this consumption reading? IMG_9342

Unfortunately this is just Porsche having some difficulties to calculate correctly. Mileage Shawn can not exceed 100,000 km / probably 100k Miles as this is a screenshot after 139,000 km =86,284 mi. Independent of this limitation Long Term consumption is just way off…unfortunately. Can you beat this consumption reading?

Those data are not real.i couldn’t figoured out what’s wrong with their math…but after about 65k km, I had about 16kwh/100km only, but I do know that I haven’t had any single drive with 16kwh/100km at all.
When I downloaded all data from app & uploaded it into Excel… I got about 24kwh/100km 🤷‍♂️

Hi @B61 how did you export the data from the app? I also want to fill an excel to see usage patterns etc. Cheers Jasper

@Jasper4S You have to go to MyPorsche portal via web browser.
There’s option to export data in csv….

I confirm that long-term consumption data is way off in the car; mine shows 14.4.kwh/100km at 52.000 kms right now (or 4.315mi/kwh at 32,300 miles); and my average "real" consumption is more like 19.5 kwh/100km.
There's definitely something wrong with the car's long-term trip meter...

Over 6500 miles - mostly local driving - per the Porsche app - I am averaging 3.5kw on my 2023 GTS Sport turismo - 21 inch spyder wheels. I would be Very happy with this consumption. No idea if this is accurate or not.

I never see Porsche ICE owners talking or bragging about the mpg they get. It’s a Porsche and economy is not why you bought it! So drive it like a Porsche should be driven and the mi/kWh will be whatever it will be.

i don’t care about consumption at all… but math is math… and if they have 1st class engineers to design & build cars, they should have decent apps as well 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷‍♂️

But that’s the problem. Teslas are built by software guys who don’t know how to do engineering while Porsches are built by engineers who don’t know how to do software.😉

while I agree with this and am not overly obsessed with efficiency (especially daily driving), this car is a long distance and primary car for my family....so consumption accuracy is important to have confidence in the range estimate.

I’ve always found the range estimates to be pretty good.

I ‘m not talking about range estimation, that is very accurate.
Results of Total Average consumption is very wrong… more miles you made, lower numbers you get 🤷‍♂️

That's impressive and well above both EPA and WLTP measures.

My MY23 GTS on same wheels never achieved more than 2.7 in 12K miles and my 4S 3.0 over 20K miles.

Check your Total Trip reading if never reset - its never accurate when you look at the data set but may report something closer.
