Hi All,
The hunt is getting real. It's getting close. Year end bonus is in, financing is in process, now to find the car. Input is greatly appreciated, please understand $64K is upper limit, gonna to try negotiate down. Price does not include taxes, flight out to Cali, and dealership BS add ons; so probably more like $70-$74K when it's said and done.

VIN = (Porsche Recall Look up - Recall data refreshed on Dec 27,2025 - There are currently no open recalls for this vehicle.) - NHTSA - 0 Unrepaired Recalls

The larger Performance Plus Battery (93.4 kWh) (YES)
- Have you charged the car to 100% and see what the range reads. (IT IS AT 80% AND SHOWS 180 MILES) - Not helpful
Real Axle Steering (RAS) (NO) - Bummer
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (NO) - This started in 2022 right?
Surround View Camera System (YES)
Adaptive Air Suspension (YES)
Sport Chrono Package (YES)
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) (NO) - It's going to be a daily driver, I'm not hitting the Autobahn, how bad is not having this?

I would make sure all the recalls have been done and that it is CPO. Do you know if the battery is the original or if it was replaced?

Window Sticker please as this is the best way for us to know and provide feedback and will show when the car started factory warranty. This is important because this is when HV battery starts its 8 year, 100k mile warranty.

Other questions:

- Battery charging history you will never know and dealers usually never share battery health report, but if it is a CPO, then the battery must meet standards to be certified, so I would not worry about it. However, I do agree to ask if it is original or replaced battery. As soon as you get it, there are easy ways we on the forum measure battery health and monitor cell health.

- RAS is nice but you should not expect it on a used example, same goes for PDCC, but ACC is a major miss so I am not sure why you are locked into this example and not looking at alternatives that are 2022 model year since 2021 is not ideal long term, but understand the budget may be limiting you to earlier examples.

What I typically saw when I was looking for my vehicle is that the first year the depreciation is around 40% conservatively, and then 10% per year afterwards. So if we go by that rough math, it would look like this:

2021 - $137,820
2022 - $82,692
2023 - $74,423
2024 - $66,981
2025 - $60,282

I think there’s still room to go down if you want to push for it.

Test drive the most basic version, and test drive one with the options you think you would like.
Buy the one that feels like the best (value) car for you.
For me that was the full Monty incl pdcc sport and RAS .

This seems about right. And keep in mind the 2021 becomes a year “older” in everyone’s mind in a week.

Think you should take your time and look around the price you are quoting is way to high and out of line. I sold my 2024 taycan ct 4s lost 152 for 80 k 5k miles for 80 grand 6 mo ago. You should be able to buy for under 50 k the most.

Just do the math and it’s the same as if the question were asked as intended.
Plus it doesn’t matter. A knowledgeable seller can game this by driving at a steady ~50 mph for awhile to bump up the GOM.

I think that is exactly what we are saying. There are too many misses on the build, 2021 is not ideal, and for your budget you should be able to get better than this example.

More like- keep negotiating. Especially since you have to travel to buy this particular one.

It’s not a good enough deal IMO to travel for.

As an example, I think I got a killer deal on mine locally- 2024 4S with the PB+ battery, premium package, tech package, 21” spyder wheels and sports chrono, for $76k.

Paint was a little rough, but for $1200 did a paint correction, PDR and ceramic and it looks better than new.

California isn’t really known for great deals on used EVs.

Alright, Alright already! I have accepted the Councils decision. But seriously, look at this sweet ass car. For pity sake, look at the red interior with Porsche embossment on the head rests. You guys are killing me.

OK - Fine, naysayers - CPO, 2021 Taycan 4S, no recalls, sweet ass red interior, not white or black, 30K that is well equipped, now at $63K (I will ask for $60K) - SHOW ME BETTER !
