software update for the diagnostic function of the battery

Hi everyone

I received today a message in my 2021 Taycan turbo that I should install an update which would enhance the ”display and warning concept of the onboard diagnostic function of the battery” (translation from German).

It’s the first time I hear about this update.

Does someone know what it’s all about?

translation/wording change for errors/warnings sent out by the diagnostic tool - in the right side of the dash - for the battery monitoring software which was installed as part of the battery recall (ARB5/6/7, ARA4/5) - instead of actually replacing the defective hardware.

There is already another thread about it.

Nothing significant that you should worry about.

Any significant update that would have any sort of impact would be done in-service, as the car does not support big updated OTA, only small ones (the hardware in the car does support it, the german quality software doesn't )
