Apparently you can opt for the previous front bumper if you don’t like the new one. Admittedly, I tried to like it but there’s something very plain about it.

Tech Art rep also verified this; the part actually aligns right beneath the headlights, so there’s no issue. Whether or not Porsche will actually do this remains to be seen, so you may have to go through a third party.

A part of me wants to wait for the next gen [27/28] to see what they do with the design [and potentially lower prices] but anther part thinks they may alter the car too much; I really appreciate the simplicity of the current interior. And the fact it’s set to share platform with Panamera. It could be a decidedly different car.

Interesting, I like plain.
Know if one can remove the charge port swipe area pieces, or would that leave a hole?

I meant the current gen2 sedan. I had only seen pictures until last week.

Techart lower lip would look good on either unless you have the turbo lower lip

Yeah the face lifted version, while I appreciate the new lighting technology, the light housing/and the new bumper just look very clinically plain. And they’re trying to replicate that with small variations across all models, which just looks really cheap. Hopefully the next gen will get back to that sculpted design.

On the automated charge port covers (standard on .2, except for GT WP) there is a black three dimensional horizontal piece, then towards the door is another that you swipe with your finger to open the cover.
If those were removed, one could still open the cover via PCM.

I think I might be in search of this very solution for my frozen blue 2026. I have the sport design in gloss black as I don’t want blue in all the places. Just the front “mustache” as I call it. (Like the pic above with the red line under it). Does anyone know if I can get a shop to wrap those pieces in body color film?

Yes you can as it will be "smooth" or painted in black.

A lot of people “can’t unsee” a 2005 Corvette on the right.
