This does not match anything I have ever experienced in my Taycan nor Porsche's own data on how the transmission works. And it's highly unlikely a tune would delay the shift and push it out of it's efficiency window because it would just make your car slower. Something is wrong with your Taycan.

"As shown, at about 100 km/h, or 62 mph, first gear runs out of steam, and the motor isn't able to send much torque to the rear wheels (and at 81 mph, the motor hits its 16,000 RPM max speed), which hurts vehicle acceleration.

It's at the point around 62 mph vehicle speed that the Taycan upshifts, yielding the solid green curve you see below, allowing for more torque at the wheels, and thus more acceleration to a higher top speed."

Since I got pinged on this.
This is for the Taycan Turbo.

For the 4S the graphs look completely different.
The optimal shiftpoint for the 4S would be around 145km/h, which is impossible because it would hit the rev limiter.

The stock upshift start at full throttle is as follows:
Range: -1 km/h (always 2nd gear)
Normal: 100km/h
Sport: 120km/h
Sport Plus: 120km/h (at all throttle positions)
Gravel: 120km/h (at all throttle positions)

I say start, because the actual shift happens later.
With tune the full throttle shift request is 125km/h, any higher requests are ignored because the motor could hit the rev limiter before the shift is complete.

My 2020 turbo in sports shifts at 90km/h. There is change that you feel, but not a jolt, and acceleration goes seamlessly through without a gap.

In normal, I never actually feel it shifting.

My 22 4S also shifts around 55mph in Sport. In normal it’s always second gear unless you floor it.

The stock upshift start at full throttle is as follows:
I don’t full throttle my car that much ever since I got the inverters replaced. When in the highway, just gradual speed build up on Sport+ I feel the shift at 78mph, no full throttle or anything (stock, no tune). I also have PDCC, PTV, etc, not sure if this changes the gearbox behavior.
