That’s the beauty of PTS - people can have the colour they want. I assume whomever chose it thought it great. I’m not sure whether you mean it should be in Miami location wise or it would be better in Miami blue.. Been to Miami, wasn’t overly impressed. Miami blue is for me a nicer colour than any of the monochrome shades however as someone who lives on the west coast I think I will cope with Bahama. Or as we call it locally Morcambe sunset..

I have seen it in the flesh now - cant wait to pick it up - needs warranty check / valet and some wheel refurbs. Think am going to go all anthracite as diamond cut is a PITA.

I think bright colours like this work better in dull weather.

The opposite is true. Carmine red for example looks dull (photos can't be relied upon due to over saturation) in UK compared to bright sunny climbs.

Bahama, Speed , Racing and Cartagena Yellow just don't work in less than always sunny climbs IMHO.

Resale is another challenge.

Isn't this the point of PTS? You pick the color you love, and not for a single moment do you think about resale or resale value?

For sure some people do but if it were me I'd still be inclined to not go too far off piste with a colour that has a likely limited audience given the high cost of PTS and PTS+

Many cars with PTS appear in dealerships not specced by a customer and typically sit looking for a buyer for longer - in part due to the price inflation and in particular due to the colour itself.

I'm not anti PTS but known to flinch at some of the choices made. Fortunately, the cost has kept these cars few and far between.

Now if I could just solve the frozen berry and blue issue I'd be at peace. Hardly any new cars in these colours now which is good but sadly limits further the colour palate choice.

Search the forum for Track Your Dream as historically you could get to the image files via a browser but this was when the app was pretty ropey a few years back. It was a faff but you could ultimately access the image files.

Alternatively, the images will ultimately be cached on your device so take a look where image files end up on your phone / tablet.
