So I got my car and it came with this bag. Does anyone know what it’s for?
Does anyone have a use for it?

Looks as though it might be for a charging cable.

I don't have a net... it has zippers on both sides, to two separated sections, so like it could hold two pairs of skis, but it's only 5' long.

Ha ha, so many suggestions to what it could be, but nothing concrete yet.

I looks like a bag for roof rack carrier. Can’t really tell the size of the bag from the picture

It is this. I also have this bag when I purchased the Porsche roof bar accessory. Use this to store the bars.

Ah! Thanks, the roof rack bag makes sense since I seem to have some rubber strips from a roof carrier in my trunk as well. They must have popped it on the car, taken it off and left "junk in the trunk" :p

That’s a Porsche storage/transport bag for the roof rack cross bars.
What it’s for:
To store and carry the Porsche roof bars when they’re not mounted on the car
Protects them from scratches and keeps grease/dirt contained
The long, padded shape and handles are exactly for the two cross bars side-by-side
You’ll usually see this included when a car was delivered with:
Porsche roof transport system

The strips are extra for when you put attachments on and need to cover the rail.

If you use many different attachments (at one point I had bike, ski and box), you'll need a different combo of strip sizes to patch the open rail based on the width and location of each attachment.

I've cut my strips into like 8 various pieces. Since I've ditched the bike attachment, the combinations are not that difficult to figure out for just a box (I use only once a year), and ski (once a year)

Sounds like you may have come missing pieces

Makes sense, there was also some paperwork for a bike carrier and a quick release pin and hoop.
I'm thinking of a roof rack, but leaning away from the OEM based on my reading of roof rail dents and scratches... leaning towards Thule.

The OEM should be fine if put on the correct way round. Some folk put the bars on back to front which led to damage on the rails.
