Heartbroken Taycan owner looking for advice on what's next

Jings!! When did you change Winge? How are you finding the 992? Preserving "investment"?

Last April.

Sounds daft but took me a while to re-adjust to the increase in noise over the Taycan. Been wintered and ironically I almost had a flat (12v) so I drove to Edinburgh last weekend.

I've had both a J1.1 and now a J1.2 and they've been near flawless with some minor software "irritations". Like another post said, some bad cookies in the batch but overall an exceptional vehicle.

Small update: the dealer decided to replace more battery modules. Apparently there are more modules that also need replacement. Which feels odd to me, because how come they didn't notice that during the first repair?

Loaner is a Macan EV now.

Sounds like you were lucky. Judging by fields of them in storage over here and a "stop sell" order on J1.1s reported at least in UK, you were the exception.

Only much later ones and very few compared to the huge numbers lined up like cordwood on airfields.

Cheaper to stack them than deal with so much warranty.

So… I ended up trading in my Taycan for this beauty. It’s a 992.2 Carrera T.

I’m genuinely sad to see the Taycan go, but who knows what the future will bring. For now I’m going to enjoy manually shifting again!

I have a 992.2 T also, BUT....I would be too lazy to drive it as daily-driver.
I enjoy every second with my 992 in the weekends/ holidays.
Yet, downtown rush-hour is a whole different beast. I appreciate every second in my Taycan than.
