Just new here and totally love Taycan

So, here we are: the specs of my Taycan! The Battery is at 94%.
Upgrades that will be made are alarmsysteem 3/5, some stickering, waterproof mat in the trunk as well.
Also I bought the Porsche wallbox with the MID-meter. Here in Netherlands you can actually make money by charging your car (and with a flexibel powercontract even more!)

Now that you have the car, check your build options in the Porsche App.

I don’t really trust the above list as a few details are definitely wrong.

Horsepower for example on a 4S with the PB+ battery is 563 (420 kw).

In the App click on your car, then my garage, and you can view the Monroney label.

I noticed it too. The add actually did say the full HP . Got a scare at first with this list. Lol. But thanks for that tip, i didnt know that!

A lot of times the online ads just pull generic VIN data.

And because there are so many options, the VIN doesn’t tell you much unless they have access to the Porsche database.

My car had significantly more options than the online ad stated. Before buying I paid to pull a detailed VIN report to be sure.

RDW checked and accepted the car without PB+. Since it’s an option and not a trim, no new RDW report was required. Therefore, yes, you have more horsepower than listed. We’re actually fortunate because, for the base and 4S models, the insurance with PB+ is lower since they calculate based on the lower horsepower specifications.

Turned out that the only thing off was actually the HP. The original add on Porsche.com stated it right at 571 HP as well. Weird how this document was lower. Doesn’t matter anymore!

oddest thing now is that the official registration says my car is red…. Now, I know that pink is actually light-red, but still; pink is an existing colour at the registration office (RDW). Is it just my frozen berry who turned out to be called red, or do other have this as well?

Halleluja. It finally happend! As of today i am the proud owner of a frozenberry 4S sedan. Completed with the Porsche side stickers. Sooooooo lovely!
we made a nice tour today to my niece for a double birthday party

our son also got a nice Porsche (actually I did but I gave it to him to build and enjoy)

Encountered a funny red ring by the way. Just had to move the car a few meters backwards for someone. I had my bag on the passenger seat and backed. All of the sudden an emergency brake and red rings!
turned out the car registered a passenger without seatbelts! Now, thats drastic measures

lol I ended up turning that feature off because I was trying to reverse park into my garage after driving in the rain and it kept thinking someone or something was there. I got super frustrated and immediately unchecked it and been happy since lol

I’m liking the colour and side decals.

I recall that crayon and chalk/beige were mistakenly mixed up in different countries between 2021 and 2023. Lots of confusion in older threads. Eu/Uk used crayon, US chalk. And to make it more confusing, you have chalk beige and limestone beige.

I miss those days on this forum. Countless threads about all options and colors.

And I had coffee beige on CT4 MY21.
