Driving this thing while my car is being serviced:
https://finder.porsche.com/ee/et-EE...s-cross-turismo-kasutatud-KQ3K4X?model=taycan

And it's all the little things that make all the difference.
Well, there is one major thing, PAR. Complete day and night difference.

But also the smaller things - PTV, 4 wheel steering, acoustic glass... Burmester...

Just feel like driving a Taycan from Temu without them :p

Got my car back.

Installed the puddle lights, the projections are huge compared to the original ones, and there's no weird tinge or color shift - they're really sharp.

Not sure about the size - could have easily been a bit smaller, but the quality is MUCH better than the original.

Next thing I have to tackle is the FitcamX install.

Looks good 👍 can you share the reference link? Thanks
Here you go:
https://www.addcarlights.com/product/porsche-logo-door-lights
Shipping was fast also.

Choose "Model D" and "Style C" if you want the "Porsche" writing.

Note also this:
( Note: Special for the Porsche Taycan 2019-2026, for the rear door lights, as the original door plugs are too wide, it will hide a small part of the projection image. if you mind, we suggest you choose Model D with Style C, or Model D with Style E

These look nice. I wonder, can they be installed on a car that has no fancy puddle lights?

You need to have ambient lighting, which I think most cars do have.
I did not order the projection lights from factory for my car - I had them on my Turbo S and they looked really bad. This aftermarket solution is what the original should have been.

I half can't believe I'm bothering to ask/dumb question, but...

@prj did you do any coating or PPF on the gloss black rear wiper cap? (told ya it was silly) I've got one on the way (thanks for the part number!) and it's such a little thing, but I'd hate for the glossiness to get all swirled up, if that's gonna happen... TIA!

There are a few benefits in ceramic coating the wiper cap, including fronts.
Less fade from the sun (Especially because you are in LA) black looks richer and shinier, easier to wash due to being hydrophobic.

You can do it yourself for very cheap with Amour Detail Supply Pro Quartz.

There isn't a piece of my car that isn't coated, including all the rubber

Thanks, @Mr.Smith - I'll get some coating on there. I think I still have some Adam's Polishes coating that should be fine...

Do you remove spacers every time you take car into dealer?
I had to this time, because it was a suspension related failure (front left air strut), otherwise I don't have to.

I want them for my 20 inch wheels, they look so sunken in as stock but I was told every time the car goes into dealer, even for routine maintenance, they scan, log and take photos around the car that gets sent to Germany and tracked internally. So even if at that appointment you don’t have any suspension problem, if it arises in the future they will see that you had modified the car before and may cause issues with warranty. It was suggested to me to remove them any time I go to dealership same like the tune 😅

Depends how anal your dealer is. Mine doesn't care too much about it.
They know a little bit of spacing will not damage anything anyway.

It helps that I own a workshop 150 meters from the dealer though, so I can just let them do it.
