I skipped the recommended 20k service but at 31k, now I'm worried my brakes will have a problem since they weren't bled out.. The rest of the stuff they do like air filter change doesn't bother me that it was skipped. Has anyone also skipped the service?

Did you get the brake recall work done? My car had it done at the 1 year mark in 2025 so the dealership told me to skip it because the recall work flushed both front and rear brake fluid. This was at the 2 year mark in March 2026, so they told me to just schedule it for March 2027, 2 years post recall work.

No, I don't think I had anything like that done. I only remember a charger recall when I first got the car in Oct 2024.

Not a huge deal, the vehicle is over engineered. Just get it done asap. Maintenance is tracked by Porsche so keep in mind that they are watching.

If you're worried, get a brake fluid tester from amazon. They're only $15. It'll tell you right away if you need to flush your brake fluid or not. Most likely you won't need to..

To maintain my warranty the terms and conditions states I cannot skip a service. Is that true for other people?

That would be the last thing I would do.

The key and mandatory part of the 2 year / 20K service is to replace the brake fluid.

This is the same for any brand of vehicles.

Brake fluid is hygroscopic in nature meaning it absorbs water and can lead to problems not least poor braking performance and corrosion.

In June 2024, all Taycans produced between 2020 and 2024 were recalled (150,000 cars) under campaign ARB0 to replace brake hoses along with the brake fluid.

Highly likely your car if CPO would have had this work performed prior to purchase.

Depending on timing your brake fluid may not yet require replacing.

Get it checked!

Not a smart move, sorry. You are just creating yourself future problems and not taking advantage of the latest recalls that make the car better.

You should not be skipping these services, as they also cover no cost recalls (with one mandatory one includes brake fluid flush), and especially the cabin air filter that would put more pressure on the compressor and the fan motor, not to mention you are breathing mold, then try to explain yourself why you did not replace it as suggested if those components go out and warranty denied due to external influence, i.e. clogged filter. I can go on, water drains can get clogged and flood the interior and cause electrical problems, then explain yourself why you skipped the service where this was part of it, and so on...

You can save on services by doing some of these yourself, but not skipping them.

We can help you in step by step on how to get back on track, but please schedule a service appointment.
