Surprising a dealership doesn’t know how to properly do the paperwork. More so that they won’t help you. I would probably try again at DMV right around 5pm. They move paper a whole lot faster when it’s closing time.

Anyone ever ask to keep the old heater? Might be interesting to actually try and figure out the failure mechanism to see if we can do any maintenance or change how it is used.
