I’m guessing making knock offs is at least a trillion dollar industry over there. They don’t believe anyone can “own an idea.”

There’s definitely pros and cons to that kind of thinking. It makes innovation cheap when you can rip off other people’s ideas. But on the flip side, companies are less likely to spend significant money chasing major breakthroughs when other companies will rip it off and you won’t get a return on that investment.

It’s definitely good looking. Reminds me a lot of my Jaguar F type R.

Crazy that there aren’t more EV coupes or convertibles out there.

It does, and it is in testing at nurburing every day since january. On the initial EV only platform.

No official announcment window, but my dealer is certain it will be in client "hands" by summer 2027

ICE/Hybrid variants will release sometimes in 2030, only in "top spec model line", on a different platform than the EV one. Similar to how they are releasing a new Macan ICE/Hybrid, later in 2027/2028, on a different platform than the EV one.

Judging from the wheels & tires that sucker is RWD which makes me happy. A front motor would have a negative effect on the fun to drive quotient.
