    Overheating and electrical cutout

(if) next time that happens, start the car and use Sport Plus mode. As described by Scandinavian, fans will do the job and hopefully decrease battery temp so it can continue to charge fast.

300 miles. DONT say it can’t be done! (2022 Taycan GTS)

According to my favorite AI (…) one could roughly expect reducing drag by one third, drag accounting for about one third of total consumption. That would sum up to around 10 to 15% reduced consumption. ———————————— When a car follows another car closely, it can experience a reduction in...

300 miles. DONT say it can’t be done! (2022 Taycan GTS)

I understand this reduction depends on the shape of the vehicle you follow, but let's say it's a SUV, how close/far should you stay if you want to avoid the turbulence generated by that vehicle ?

Is my battery performance battery plus or not?

I wasn't trying to break any record: 16 kWh/100 km in summer (30°C outside, 21° AC inside), 3 adults, 5 luggages (frunk and trunk full), driving at 50/60 mph on a curvy mountain road (including traffic lights). That's about real 320 miles range.

Is my battery performance battery plus or not?

I recently did 2 trips of 1000 and 1300 km in one day. By the time, you grab a sandwich (and eat it), go to the ?, battery has enough until next stop. I'll save perhaps one stop with a higher range, but 20mn on a 1300km trip is insignificant I was a bit anxious getting the car to Greece, where...

    Standard cruise control

I quite often drive at night on highways (so not much traffic) and find ACC very useful. My only concern is indeed the trucks. I have thee feeling that when ACC notices a truck (ie big signature ?), it slows down too early. When it's a slow car (ie small signature ?) it slows down as it should...

What makes the difference between Range Mode limiting to 60mph or 90mph?

did you use the Nav system with your final destination ? in Range mode, car would limit the speed to reach the destination without charging (or optimising charging time).
